Kurze Unterbrechung des regulären Deko-Programms – ich verspreche, es kommt nicht ständig vor und ich habe auch weiteres Deko-Programm in Petto 🙈. Und irgendwie sind Malbücher ja auch gedruckte Deko zum Selbstgestalten – also so weit vom Thema bin ich gar nicht abgeschweift.

Vielleicht möchte ja auch der eine oder andere „es“ mal ausprobieren. Ich persönlich habe Ausmalen für mich wiederentdeckt. Ich habe früher sogar den Pinsel geschwungen – aber Ausmalen ist irgendwie anders. Und auch wenn alle denken „voll uncool“ – kann ich euch sagen: ist es nicht. Ich male abends beim Fernsehen oder wenn ich ein Hörbuch höre, bei schlechtem Wetter, mit einer Duftkerze und dabei vergesse ich alles um mich herum für eine Stunde. Und am Ende freue ich mich wie ein kleines Mädchen, wenn mein Ganesha so hübsch geworden ist 🙈😄. Ich kann es nicht anders sagen – das ist schön und entspannend. Es gibt übrigens richtig viele Menschen, die das für total uncool halten und meinen, das sei doch nur für Kinder. Ha ha – soll ich euch was sagen? Die Community ist riesig.

Meine Malbücher für Erwachsene – und warum ich die Zeitgeist Living Test Crew ins Leben gerufen habe

Ich gestalte meine Malbücher mit Motiven, die ich selbst liebe: Mandalas, Blumenmädchen, Flamingos, Hamsa, Buddhas, Ganesha und wunderschöne Blumenmotive. Oder irrwitzige verrückte Tiere 😂🙈. Ich weiß – aus Sicht eines klugen Verkäufers ist das nicht besonders schlau. Der Köder soll ja bekanntlich dem Fisch schmecken und nicht dem Angler. Aber ich bin nun mal wie ich bin, und in Zeitgeist Living muss auch immer eine Menge „Tonja“ drinstecken. Das ist nun mal so – und deshalb sind meine Malbücher halt wie sie sind 😄.

Aber hier ist die Sache: Malbücher entstehen nicht über Nacht – meine jedenfalls. Die Erstellung dauert manchmal Monate. Ich arbeite mit digitalen Tools, überarbeite jedes Motiv sorgfältig und male viele davon auch selbst aus. Dabei entdecke ich immer wieder Dinge, die ich im Nachhinein anders hätte machen können. Und manchmal bin ich eben auch einfach „betriebsblind“.

Quick interruption of the regular decor programme – I promise it won’t happen constantly and I have plenty more decor content coming up. 😄 And honestly, coloring books are kind of printed decor you create yourself – so I haven’t strayed that far from the topic.

Maybe some of you would like to give it a try. I personally have rediscovered coloring for myself. I even used to paint with a brush – but coloring is somehow different. And even though everyone thinks it’s totally uncool – let me tell you: it’s not. I color in the evenings while watching TV or listening to an audiobook, on rainy days, with a scented candle burning. For one whole hour I forget everything around me. And at the end I’m as happy as a little girl when my Ganesha turned out beautifully 🙈😄. I can’t say it any other way – it’s lovely and relaxing. By the way, there are so many people who think this is totally uncool and only for kids. Ha ha – shall I tell you something? The community is huge.

My Zeitgeist Living Coloring Books – and why I started a Zeitgeist Living Test Crew

I design my coloring books with motifs that I love myself: mandalas, flower girls, flamingos, hamsa, buddhas, Ganesha and beautiful floral motifs. Oh, and completely crazy animals. 😂🙈 I know – from a smart seller’s perspective, that’s not particularly clever. The bait is supposed to appeal to the fish, not the fisherman. But I am who I am, and Zeitgeist Living always needs a good dose of „Tonja“ in it. That’s just how it is – and that’s why my coloring books are the way they are. 😄

But here’s the thing: coloring books don’t happen overnight – mine certainly don’t. Creating them sometimes takes months. I work with digital tools, carefully revise every motif and color many of them myself. Along the way I always discover things I could have done differently. And sometimes I’m simply too close to see it clearly.

Im Zuge eines Lernprozesses ist dieses Stressabbau Malbuch für Erwachsene entstanden – und ein bisschen habe ich es für meine Mutter entworfen. Sie hat früher toll gemalt, sogar mit Textilfarbe auf Kleidungsstücke, und sie kann das wirklich gut. Aber ihre Augen machen es ihr inzwischen schwer, solchen Hobbys in der gewohnten Form nachzugehen. Ein Malbuch auszumalen hingegen klappt noch ganz gut. Und so ist die Idee gereift, ein eigenes Entspannungs-Malbuch für Erwachsene zu gestalten – mit dem ich sie überraschen konnte.

Natürlich sollte es nicht nur uns gefallen, und so hoffe ich, dass es mir gelungen ist, es liebevoll, abwechslungsreich und mit Motiven zu gestalten, die Freude machen. Zum Geburtstag hat meine Ma dann auch gleich von Freunden ein Set wunderschöner Buntstifte geschenkt bekommen.

Und noch etwas Witziges und auch Überraschendes: Plötzlich fragte mein Vater, ob er denn auch darin malen dürfe. 😂 So süß! Niemals hätte ich gedacht, dass er Lust zum Ausmalen haben würde. Aber er erzählte mir ganz begeistert, dass er nachts im Bett überlege, welche Farben wohl am besten zusammenpassen. Ich glaube, die „Mädchen“ mit den vielen Armbändern und Blumen im Haar haben es ihm besonders angetan. Natürlich bekommt er sein eigenes Stressabbau Malbuch – ist ja wohl Ehrensache.

In the course of a learning process, this coloring book was created – and I partly designed it for my mother. She used to paint beautifully, even with textile paints on clothing, and she was really good at it. But nowadays her eyes make it difficult for her to pursue such hobbies in the way she used to. Coloring in a book, however, still works wonderfully. And so the idea was born to create my own Stress Relief Coloring Book for Adults – one that I could surprise her with.

Of course, it shouldn’t just please us, and so I hope I managed to design it lovingly, with variety and motifs that bring joy. For her birthday, my mom even received a set of beautiful colored pencils from friends, which made her very happy.

And now something funny and also surprising: Suddenly my father asked if he could color in it as well. 😂 So cute! I would never have thought that he would enjoy coloring. But he told me, all excited, that at night in bed he would think about which colors would go best together. I think the “girls” with the many bracelets and flowers in their hair particularly caught his eye. Naturally, he will get his very own Stress Relief Coloring Book – that’s a matter of honor.
