I’m listening a book on Bookbeat right now that I really want to share with you. You can read it as a book, of course, but it’s so well read that I actually encourage you to listen to the audiobook.

The book is called „New York and the Rest of the World“ by Fran Lebowitz. I can share Ms. Lebowitz’s humor one hundred percent and I have to say, I love her sharp tongue.

Apparently, there is even a series about it on Netflix, filmed by Martin Scorsese, who is said to be a good friend of Fran Lebowitz. I’ll be watching the series, Pretend It’s a City, after the vacations.

Stieg Larsson’s Millennium trilogy is, after all, no longer a trilogy. In 2015, the thriller “ Verschwörung “ was published, the first of three continuations of the Millennium series, written by the writer David Lagercrantz.
Brilliant, I love the continuations and am a true Lisbeth Salander fan. If anyone doesn’t know the books and is looking for some exciting reading, this is definitely a tip.

In 2018, the first of these continuations ( Verschwörung) was made into a movie called „The Girl in the Spider’s Web“ and is currently on Netflix.
I definitely like the book better, but the movie isn’t bad either. Like many Netflix productions, the movie is „Nice“ to watch. If it weren’t a movie, I’d say I like the images.
