Meine Oma sagte immer zum Thema Mode: „Alles kommt irgendwann wieder“ und „als ich eine junge Frau war“ … Heute bin ich so alt, dass ich das auch oft denke. Ich sage nur Buffalo-Schuhe mit Plateausohle und Netzkleider. Hände hoch, wer hatte auch welche?

Das Muster Toile de Jouy hat diese Renaissance schon mehrfach erlebt, denn laut Wikipedia stammt es aus dem 17. Jahrhundert.
Aktuell ist Toile de Jouy jedenfalls wieder ziemlich in Mode. Ich persönlich finde es im Dekobereich schöner. Vermutlich aus nostalgischen Gründen, denn ja, auch in unserem Haushalt gab es in meiner Kindheit Geschirr in diesem Stil. Unser Geschirr hatte den klassischen Rotton, und wenn ich mich tief genug in die Schränke meiner Eltern hineinwage, finden sich bestimmt noch einige Stücke von damals.

My grandmother always used to say about fashion: “Everything comes back eventually” and “when I was a young woman” … Today I am old enough to often think the same. I am just saying: Buffalo shoes with platform soles and mesh dresses. Hands up, who had them too?

The Toile de Jouy pattern has already experienced this kind of renaissance several times, as according to Wikipedia it dates back to the 17th century.

At the moment, Toile de Jouy is definitely quite fashionable again. Personally, I prefer it in home decor. Probably for nostalgic reasons, because yes, we also had dishes in this style at home when I was a child. Our dishes had the classic red tone, and if I dig deep enough into my parents’ cupboards, I am sure I will still find a few pieces from back then.

Weiße Kissen an einem türkisblauen Pool sind fantastisch und vermutlich das stylische Konzept diverser Super-Hotels. Aber wisst ihr, worauf es sich an einem türkisblauen Pool auch ganz ausgezeichnet herumlümmeln lässt? Und was dem stylischen Pool-Konzept „White“ in nichts nachsteht?
Samt und Aqua-Töne. Samt strahlt einfach Gemütlichkeit aus und steht in einem wunderbaren Kontrast zu den kühlen Aqua-Farben. Meine innere Meerjungfrau kann gar nicht genug davon bekommen.
Für die Fotos am Pool im B&B Fontaine de Cérier in der Provence habe ich die Dekoria Kissen gedreht, gewendet, herumgetragen und manchmal auch heimlich geknuddelt. Es sah einfach zu schön aus.

Fontaine de Cérier ist ein wunderschönes Bed & Breakfast in der Provence bei Castillon-du-Gard. Der Pool, die alten Steine, der Lavendel und diese ganze Postkartenidylle machen es einem allerdings auch wirklich leicht. Man muss dort eigentlich nur ein Kissen hinlegen und zack: schön.
Die großen Sitzkissen aus Samt und das gemusterte Kissen passen jedenfalls großartig an den Pool. Sie sehen weich aus, gemütlich, ein bisschen luxuriös.

PS: Und wer keinen Pool hat, so wie ich, muss nicht traurig sein. Die Kissen sehen überall schön aus: im Garten, auf dem Balkon und natürlich auch in der Wohnung.

White cushions by a turquoise pool are fantastic and probably the stylish concept of various super hotels. But do you know what is also excellent for lounging around by a turquoise pool? And what is in no way inferior to the stylish “white” pool concept?
Velvet and aqua tones. Velvet simply radiates coziness and creates a wonderful contrast to the cool aqua colors. My inner mermaid cannot get enough of it.
For the photos by the pool at the B&B Fontaine de Cérier in Provence, I turned the Dekoria cushions around, flipped them over, carried them from one place to another and sometimes secretly cuddled them. It simply looked too beautiful.

Fontaine de Cérier is a beautiful bed & breakfast in Provence near Castillon-du-Gard. The pool, the old stones, the lavender and this whole postcard idyll really make it easy. You basically only have to place a cushion somewhere and boom: beautiful.
The large velvet seat cushions and the patterned cushion look wonderful by the pool. They look soft, cozy and a little luxurious.

PS: And if you do not have a pool, just like me, you do not have to be sad. The cushions look beautiful everywhere: in the garden, on the balcony and of course also inside the house.

Das passiert, wenn deine Freundin eine nachträgliche Geburtstagsüberraschung hat und dich verdammt gut kennt: Sie schleppt dich zu ihrem Lieblingsstrand, verwöhnt dich mit leckerem Wein und Essen und schenkt dir einen ganzen Tag mit ihr.

Nein, ich muss das revidieren: Wir waren ja gar nicht an einem Strand, wir waren im Interior-Himmel, wo es ganz zufällig auch leckeres Essen mit allem Drum und Dran gibt. Sogar Espresso Martini. Außerdem habe ich gelernt, dass sich der Interior-Himmel nicht auf Wolke 7 befindet, sondern an einem herrlichen Sandstrand liegt.
In diesem Fall heißt der Deko-Heaven La Plage Bonaventure und ihr findet ihn am Strand von Palavas-les-Flots in Südfrankreich. Glaubt mir, die meisten Gäste schleichen erst einmal staunend und schockverliebt mit dem Handy durch den Beachclub und machen Fotos.
Danke, Sandra. Ich habe den Tag geliebt.
Falls ihr auch in diesen Beachclub möchtet, denkt unbedingt daran zu reservieren. Die genauen Öffnungszeiten und Reservierungsmöglichkeiten würde ich vor einem Besuch trotzdem immer kurz prüfen.

This is what happens when your friend has a belated birthday surprise for you and knows you terribly well: she drags you to her favorite beach, spoils you with delicious wine and food and gives you an entire day with her.

No, I have to correct that: we were not really at a beach. We were in interior heaven, where there just happens to be delicious food with all the trimmings. Even Espresso Martini. I also learned that interior heaven is not located on cloud seven, but on a beautiful sandy beach.
In this case, this decor heaven is called La Plage Bonaventure, and you can find it on the beach of Palavas-les-Flots in the South of France. Believe me, most guests first wander through the beach club in awe and completely smitten, taking photos with their phones.
Thank you, Sandra. I loved that day.

Es ist noch gar nicht lange her, dass ich vor lauter Begeisterung über meine Duftkerze von der kleinen Kerzenmanufaktur Sensory Philosophy einen Post geschrieben habe. Als ich das letzte Mal bei Fontaine de Cérier war, hatte Sandra einige Sommerdüfte als Proben zum Schnuppern da. Auch einen Reed-Diffuser konnte ich im Original sehen. Ich hatte mich direkt in zwei Düfte verliebt.

Wie ich bereits im letzten Post vermutet hatte, bin ich ganz verliebt in die Duftkerze Lime / Basil / Mandarin. Es klang schon wunderbar und nun, wo ich sie riechen durfte, bin ich hin und weg. Mein zweiter Favorit ist der Duft Rhubarb / Elderflower. Auch bei diesem Duft hatte ich schon vermutet, dass er mir gefallen würde. Ein Traum. Und ich glaube, meiner Assistentin Night gefallen sie auch 🐶.
Ich bin jetzt schon gespannt, was Sensory Philosophy für den Winter und für Weihnachten kreieren wird.

It was not long ago that I wrote a post full of excitement about my scented candle from the small candle manufactory Sensory Philosophy. When I last visited Fontaine de Cérier, Sandra had a few summer fragrances as samples to try. I also got to see a reed diffuser in its original form. I instantly fell in love with two scents.

As I already suspected in my previous post, I am absolutely smitten with the candle Lime / Basil / Mandarin. It already sounded wonderful, and now that I have been able to smell it, I am blown away. My second favourite is scent Rhubarb / Elderflower. I had a feeling I would like this one too. A dream. And I think my little assistant Night likes them as well 🐶.
I am already excited to see what Sensory Philosophy will create for winter and Christmas.

Duftkerzen sind ein ganz besonderes Thema in meinem Leben, denn ich liebe Duftkerzen und mittlerweile gibt es hier auf dem Blog schon einige Posts über Duftkerzen.

Seit ich so viel Zeit in Frankreich verbringe, lerne ich aber auch die französischen Brands kennen. Und davon gibt es eine ganze Menge. Neben den bekannten großen Namen gibt es unzählige kleine Manufakturen, die in Handarbeit und in kleinen Chargen Duftkerzen aus natürlichen Inhaltsstoffen herstellen.
Von meiner Freundin habe ich eine ganz wundervolle Sensory Philosophy Duftkerze bekommen und so wieder ein kleines Brand entdeckt, das sich mit Duftkerzen befasst.

Die kleine Manufaktur Sensory Philosophy gibt es erst seit 2019 und alle Produkte werden in Handarbeit hergestellt. Alle Inhaltsstoffe sind pur und natürlich. Damals gab es unter anderem eine kleine Produktion in Südfrankreich. Wer bei Sandra im B&B Fontaine de Cérier Urlaub gemacht hat, konnte sich durch diverse Muster schnuppern. Die Düfte sind zart, obwohl es sich um Kräuter-Nuancen handelt. Die Kerzen sind sowohl vom Duft als auch vom Style super edel. Das Wichtigste ist aber: Die Kerzen riechen nicht nur im Glas!

Scented candles are a very special topic in my life, because I love scented candles and by now there are already several posts about scented candles here on the blog.

Since I spend so much time in France, I have also discovered French brands. And there are quite a few of them. Besides the well-known big names, there are countless small manufactories that make scented candles by hand and in small batches with natural ingredients.
Sandra gave me a wonderful Sensory Philosophy scented candle and that is how I discovered another small brand dedicated to scented candles.

The small manufactory Sensory Philosophy has only been around since 2019 and all products are handmade. All ingredients are pure and natural. Back then, there was also a small production in the south of France. Anyone who stayed with Sandra at the B&B Fontaine de Cérier could sniff through various samples. The fragrances are delicate, even though they are herbal nuances. The candles are super elegant, both in scent and in style. But the most important thing is: the candles do not only smell good in the glass!

Um euch mit ein paar Herbst-Impressionen aus der Provence einen Eindruck von der Schönheit dieser Region zu geben, habe ich einige Fotos von meinem letzten Besuch bei Sandra zusammengestellt. Es ist eine ziemlich wahllose Zusammenstellung, weil ich mich leider nicht mehr daran erinnern kann, wann ich wo welche Bilder aufgenommen habe. Bevor jemand fragt: Ortungsdienst ausgeschaltet.

Wir haben unzählige Dörfer und Märkte besucht und einige Spaziergänge über Stock und Stein unternommen. Einzig an den tollen Markt in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence kann ich mich noch ziemlich gut erinnern. Wer sich auskennt, kann also gerne Bilderrätsel mit meinem Post spielen 😂🙈.
Wie gesagt: Da ich wie jeder andere Tourist wild um mich herum fotografiert habe, bekomme ich die Reihenfolge der besuchten Orte und geschossenen Bilder nicht mehr so richtig hintereinander. Dies ist also quasi ein kleiner Blogpost mit Herbst-Impressionen aus der Provence.

Immer wenn ich zu Sandra fahre, bereite ich mich gern mit einem Provence-Krimi oder einem Buch über Südfrankreich auf meinen Besuch bei ihr vor.

Provence-Krimis sind zwar nicht die perfekten Reiseführer, aber dennoch erstaunlich informativ. Und am Rande erwähnt: In den meisten dieser Kriminalromane wird deutlich mehr gekocht, gegessen und getrunken als gemordet.
Besonders gern mag ich Bücher, die einen schon beim Lesen in diese südfranzösische Stimmung bringen. Peter Mayle gehört für mich irgendwie dazu. Und auch die Gebrauchsanweisung für Südfrankreich ist schön, wenn man sich ein bisschen in den Süden Frankreichs hineinlesen möchte.

To give you an impression of the beauty of Provence, I have put together a few photos from my last visit to Sandra. It is a rather random collection, because unfortunately I can no longer remember exactly when and where I took which pictures. Before anyone asks: location services were switched off.

We visited countless villages and markets and went on several walks over hill and dale. The only place I still remember quite clearly is the wonderful market in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. So if you know the area, you are very welcome to play a little photo guessing game with this post 😂🙈.
As I said: like every other tourist, I took photos wildly in every direction, and now I can no longer really put the places we visited and the pictures I took into the correct order. So this is basically a little blog post with autumn impressions from Provence.
If these autumn impressions from Provence make you want to travel, you will find a few books below the post that fit this mood very nicely. Whenever I visit Sandra, I like to prepare myself with a Provence crime novel or a book about the South of France.

Provence crime novels may not be the perfect travel guides, but they are often surprisingly informative. And, just as a side note: in most of these crime novels, there is far more cooking, eating and drinking than murder.

I especially like books that put you into that southern French mood while you are reading them. Peter Mayle somehow belongs to that for me. And Gebrauchsanweisung für Südfrankreich is also a lovely book if you want to read your way into the South of France a little.

Hinweis: Die kleine Handtasche auf den Bildern war ursprünglich Teil einer Kooperation mit Kontor 1710, das Kleid von Shahé Lélé. Beide Shops gibt es inzwischen leider nicht mehr, deshalb habe ich die alten Links entfernt. Ich lasse den Beitrag trotzdem online, weil ich die Bilder und die Provence-Stimmung immer noch sehr mag.

Eines Tages im Spätsommer in der Provence …
sind diese Bilder entstanden. Bilder, die ich euch keinesfalls vorenthalten kann. Bilder mit zauberhaftem Spätsommerlicht, trockenen Wegen, Steinen unter den Füßen und dieser Landschaft, die so typisch für diese Gegend in Südfrankreich ist.
Bilder davon, wie meine Freundin und ich mit viel zu großen Gummistiefeln, aber stylischem Hut und stylischer Handtasche durchs Gebüsch gekrochen sind 😂🙈. Fragt mich nicht, was wir dort untersucht haben, aber wir mussten irgendetwas nachsehen. Ich erinnere mich dunkel, dass es etwas mit Wildschweinen zu tun hatte. Von denen gibt es übrigens ziemlich viele in der Provence. Ich weiß es aber nicht mehr genau.

Es war auf jeden Fall sehr witzig, sah einfach zu schön aus, und natürlich gab es auch noch diese wunderschöne Abendstimmung. Und wenn eine kleine entzückende Handtasche so stylisch auf einem Kissen herumlümmelt, dann muss man davon natürlich auch 2000 Fotos machen und ihr müsst das Resultat ertragen, ganz klar 😂.

One day in late summer in Provence …
these pictures were taken. Pictures I simply cannot keep from you. Pictures with magical late-summer light, dry paths, stones under our feet and that landscape that is so typical of this part of the South of France.
Pictures of my friend and me crawling through the bushes in far too large rubber boots, but with a stylish hat and a stylish handbag 😂🙈. Do not ask me what we were investigating there, but we had to check something. I vaguely remember that it had something to do with wild boars. There are quite a lot of them in Provence, by the way. But I honestly do not remember exactly.

In any case, it was very funny, looked simply too beautiful, and of course there was also this wonderful evening atmosphere. And when a small, charming handbag lounges so stylishly on a cushion, you obviously have to take 2000 photos of it, and you will have to endure the result, clearly 😂.

Ich muss euch zu diesem Störrlein Krenig Wein eine kleine Geschichte erzählen.

Vor Kurzem haben wir uns im Urlaub mit einer Bekannten und ihrer Familie getroffen. Im Vorfeld hatte sie mich gefragt, ob sie mir Wein mitbringen soll. Ich war etwas verwundert darüber und habe in etwa so geantwortet: Och nö du, lass mal, hier gibt es ja überall Wein. Sie klang am Telefon daraufhin etwas verwundert und meinte dann nur: Oooookkeeee.

Als wir uns dann im Urlaub getroffen haben, haben wir recht viel Zeit miteinander verbracht. Es war, als hätten wir uns erst vor drei Monaten und nicht vor drei Jahren das letzte Mal gesehen. Super schön. Zu einem Nachmittag bei uns hatte sie dann doch einen Wein als Geschenk mitgebracht. Ich hatte die Flasche fröhlich im Kühlschrank verschwinden lassen, damit wir den Wein eventuell zusammen trinken konnten.
An jenem Nachmittag haben wir uns unter anderem auch über unsere Eltern unterhalten und so habe ich erfahren, dass Andis Eltern ein eigenes Business haben. Auf meine Frage: „Was machen denn deine Eltern?“, erhielt ich die Antwort: „Die haben doch ein Weingut.“

Mein dummes Gesicht könnt ihr euch sicher vorstellen. Wie, ein Weingut? Das erklärte natürlich einiges. Das Weingut Störrlein Krenig ist in Deutschland übrigens renommiert, das hat mir allerdings ein Freund erzählt, der den Wein kennt.
Nachdem ich von meiner Bekannten erfahren hatte, wie viel Arbeit, Herzblut und Leidenschaft in den Störrlein Krenig Weinen ihrer Familie stecken, war ich auf meine Flasche Wein richtig stolz und habe sie für etwas Besonderes aufgehoben.

Den Wein habe ich zu Sandra von Fontaine de Cerier mitgenommen, damit wir ihn gemeinsam probieren konnten. Sandra liebt gutes Essen und guten Wein und nirgends ist ein guter Wein besser aufgehoben. Wir haben den Wein am Nachmittag des zweiten Tages getrunken, als es kühler wurde. Dazu gab es etwas Wurst, Feigen und Nüsse. Großartig.
Fränkischer Wein und französische Lebensart passen auf jeden Fall hervorragend zusammen.

I need to tell you a little story about this Störrlein Krenig wine.

Some time ago, we met up with an acquaintance and her family while we were on holiday. Beforehand, she had asked me if she should bring me some wine. I was a little surprised and answered something like: Oh no, don’t worry, there is wine everywhere here. She sounded a little surprised on the phone and then simply said: Oooookay.

When we met during the holiday, we spent quite a bit of time together. It felt as if we had last seen each other three months ago, not three years ago. So nice. For an afternoon with us, she had brought a bottle of wine as a gift after all. I had cheerfully put the bottle in the fridge so that we could maybe drink it together.
That afternoon, we also talked about our parents, and that is how I found out that Andi’s parents have their own business. When I asked, “What do your parents do?”, I got the answer: “They have a winery.”

You can probably imagine my stupid face. What, a winery? That explained a lot, of course. By the way, the Störrlein Krenig winery is quite renowned in Germany, although that was something a friend told me who knows the wine.
After my acquaintance had told me how much work, passion and dedication go into her family’s Störrlein Krenig wines, I was really proud of my bottle of wine and saved it for something special.

I took the wine with me to Sandra from Fontaine de Cerier so that we could taste it together. Sandra loves good food and good wine, and there is hardly a better place for a good bottle of wine. We drank the wine on the afternoon of the second day, when it had become a little cooler. We had some sausage, figs and nuts with it. Wonderful.
Franconian wine and French lifestyle definitely go very well together.

Am liebsten lümmele ich bei Fontaine de Cérier am frühen Morgen am Pool herum. Genau da, wo ihr mich auf den Fotos seht. Early Morning in der Sonne, zwischen Lavendelduft, Zikadengesang und dieser ziemlich unverschämten Postkartenidylle. Dann mache ich es den Mädels gemütlich, wenn sie morgens Kaffee trinken. Es gibt echt schlechtere Arbeitsplätze für ein Kissen.

Manchmal ist es allerdings ein wenig anstrengend. Dann kommen diese Mädels, schütteln mich auf, wedeln mit mir herum, legen mich von einem Stuhl auf die Liege, von der Liege auf die Bank, dann wieder in den Schatten und dann doch zurück in die Sonne. „Nein, so ist es besser.“ „Warte, dreh es noch mal.“ „Ohhh, das sieht schön aus.“ Kennt ihr das? Ein Kissen, ein Pool, 425.000 Fotos. Und das am frühen Morgen 🙈. Aber das ist halt mein Job, und ich nehme meinen Job echt ernst. Allerdings mache ich das auch ziemlich gut. Egal, wohin die Mädels mich legen, ich sehe immer Hammer aus 🫶🏻.

Zwischendurch werde ich auch mal in eine dunkle Kiste gesteckt. Das gefällt mir gar nicht. Ich bin eher so die Rampensau. Ich will mich zeigen. Ich rocke alles: Leg mich auf ein Sofa, leg mich auf einen Stuhl, schmeiß mich in eine Ecke, egal — zack, ist es schön. Ich wuppe das Ding🤘🏼. Also wer will schon in einer dunklen Kiste liegen, wenn er auch zur schönsten Tageszeit am Pool von Fontaine de Cérier herumlümmeln kann?

Ihr könnt das übrigens auch. Fontaine de Cérier ist nämlich ein wunderschönes Bed & Breakfast in der Provence bei Castillon-du-Gard. Da könnt ihr mich besuchen, mit mir morgens am Pool chillen, Lavendelduft genießen und diese ganz besondere Morgenstimmung zelebrieren.

PS: Sorry Leute, ich bin nun in Rente. Das heißt, mich könnt ihr nicht mehr kaufen. Aber ich habe ein paar Verwandte bei Dekoria. Ziemlich gut aussehende. Liegt in der Familie. Die rocken auch so ziemlich jedes Zimmer 🤘🏼.
Und wer noch mehr blau-weiße Dekoria-Kissen mag: In diesem Beitrag bin ich zwar noch nicht dabei — das sieht man natürlich sofort — aber meine Kissen-Verwandtschaft schon.

Hello, I am a blue and white cushion from Dekoria. Actually, I was supposed to become a hallway cushion. Really. That was apparently the plan. I was supposed to lie quietly somewhere in the hallway, look pretty and behave myself.
Then, by chance, I was allowed to come along to Provence, to Fontaine de Cérier. And what can I say? I loved it immediately. I made myself comfortable by the pool, showed my best side and fitted perfectly into the interior. Honestly. I found my place — I am not leaving. The crickets chirp, the cicadas sing, the lavender bushes smell heavenly. It is simply indescribably beautiful. I am basically made for this. This is my destiny: spreading coziness by the pool.

My favorite thing is lounging around by the pool at Fontaine de Cérier early in the morning. Exactly where you see me in the photos. Early morning in the sun, between lavender scent, cicada song and this slightly outrageous postcard idyll. Then I make things cozy for the girls while they drink their morning coffee. There are definitely worse workplaces for a cushion.

Sometimes, however, it is a little exhausting. Then these girls show up, fluff me up, wave me around, move me from a chair to the lounger, from the lounger to the bench, then back into the shade and then back into the sun again. “No, this is better “Wait, turn it again.” “Ohhh, that looks beautiful.” Do you know what I mean? One cushion, one pool, 425,000 photos. And all of that early in the morning 🙈. But that is my job, and I take my job very seriously. I have to admit, I am also pretty good at it. No matter where the girls put me, I always look amazing 🫶🏻.

Every now and then, I am also put into a dark box. I do not like that at all. I am more of a spotlight kind of cushion. I want to be seen. I rock everything: put me on a sofa, put me on a chair, throw me into a corner, whatever — boom, it looks beautiful. I can handle it. So who wants to lie in a dark box when they could lounge around by the pool at Fontaine de Cérier at the most beautiful time of day?

You can do that too, by the way. Fontaine de Cérier is a beautiful bed & breakfast in Provence near Castillon-du-Gard. You can visit me there, chill with me by the pool in the morning, enjoy the scent of lavender and celebrate this very special morning mood.

PS: Sorry people, I am retired now. That means you can no longer buy me. But I do have a few relatives at Dekoria. Pretty good-looking ones. It runs in the family. They also rock pretty much every room 🤘🏼.

Letzte Woche habe ich eine Freundin in der Provence besucht, die ich vor einiger Zeit über Instagram kennengelernt habe. Sie betreibt in der Provence, genauer gesagt in Castillon-du-Gard, liebevoll ein kleines Bed and Breakfast namens Fontaine de Cérier.

Sandra und ihr Mann haben ihr kleines Paradies so wunderschön eingerichtet, dass ich es gar nicht erwarten konnte, sie endlich dort zu besuchen und von ihrem Heim zehntausend Fotos zu machen.
Es waren ein paar wunderschöne Tage, für die ich Sandra gar nicht genug danken kann. Ich will nicht zu viel aus dem Nähkästchen plaudern, aber es waren richtig nette Mädels-Tage.

Tagsüber hat mir Sandra ein bisschen die Umgebung gezeigt, und die Abende haben wir quatschend vor dem großen Kamin verbracht. Ein paar Sonnenstunden konnten wir sogar am Pool verbringen und den Blick in die Umgebung genießen. Um in den Pool zu springen, war es allerdings noch zu kalt.

Falls ihr mal einen schönen Urlaub in der Provence machen möchtet und in einem wunderschönen Backsteinhaus wohnen wollt, dann ist Fontaine de Cérier in der Provence genau das Richtige für euch. Das Bed and Breakfast ist umgeben von Wiesen und Weinfeldern und trotzdem ganz in der Nähe von Castillon-du-Gard, Uzès und Avignon gelegen.
Ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Provence und gleichzeitig auch ein wunderbarer Ort, um sich zu erholen und zu entspannen.
Übrigens ist Sandra eine leidenschaftliche Köchin und verwöhnt ihre Gäste auch kulinarisch. Schaut euch mal das Frühstück und den Aperitif an.

Last week, I visited a friend in Provence whom I met some time ago through Instagram. She runs a small bed and breakfast in Provence, more precisely in Castillon-du-Gard, called Fontaine de Cérier.

Sandra and her husband have decorated their little paradise so beautifully that I could not wait to finally visit her there and take ten thousand photos of her home.
It was a few wonderful days, and I really cannot thank Sandra enough for them. I do not want to spill too many secrets, but they were truly lovely girls’ days.
During the day, Sandra showed me a little bit of the surrounding area, and in the evenings we sat chatting in front of the big fireplace. We even managed to spend a few sunny hours by the pool and enjoy the view of the surroundings. It was still too cold to jump into the pool, though.

If you ever want to spend a beautiful holiday in Provence and stay in a wonderful brick house, then Fontaine de Cérier in Provence is exactly the right place for you. The bed and breakfast is surrounded by meadows and vineyards and is still located very close to Castillon-du-Gard, Uzès and Avignon.
A perfect starting point for trips through Provence and at the same time a wonderful place to rest and relax.

By the way, Sandra is a passionate cook and also spoils her guests with delicious food. Just have a look at the breakfast and the aperitif.
