(Advertising with passion / trade fair impressions)

Here is the second part of my Ambiente 2020 impressions from Frankfurt. In the first post, I already wrote a little about why these fairs are always something special to me.

Ambiente 2020 may not have been quite as full of incredibly elaborately staged trade fair stands as it was ten years ago. The budgets no longer seem endless, but for me, Ambiente is still full of inspiring interior ideas.

I always find it exciting to see how differently brands present their collections. Some stands feel almost like small apartments, others more like little worlds.

Since I was able to take so many beautiful photos at Ambiente 2020, I simply had to split the impressions into two posts. You can find the first part here: Ambiente 2020 Part 1.

PS: You can also find more Ambiente impressions in my posts about Ambiente 2018: Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 🙈🙈.

Ambiente in Frankfurt used to be not just a trade fair for me, but somehow part of my work routine. Although definitely the very special part 😂🙈.

To this day, I still enjoy the atmosphere and all the impressions. If I have the opportunity and the time, I do not miss Ambiente. Ambiente is one of the most impressive interior and consumer goods fairs in Germany. Retailers, manufacturers and brands from all over the world come together there and present their latest collections on often impressive trade fair stands. You walk through halls full of decoration, living ideas, tableware, colors, materials and trends.

What I always find particularly impressive are the elaborately designed stands. Some of them are so large and staged in such detail that you almost get dizzy when you think about the costs. But that is, of course, also part of the appeal. You do not just see individual products, but staged, almost magical worlds.

In this post, I have collected a few impressions from Ambiente 2020 in Frankfurt. I hope I was able to capture some of these impressions for you. I was able to take so many beautiful photos that I had to make two posts out of them. Here you can find Ambiente 2020 Part 2.

And if you still have not had enough of elaborately staged showrooms afterwards, you can find more impressions in my posts about Ambiente 2018: Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 🙈🙈.

Here comes part 2 of my impressions from the PTMD Collection Showroom. In the first post, I already told you why this showroom was such a special highlight for my decorator heart.

And since these showrooms are not meant for regular visitors, but of course for retailers to shop, I assume that many of my readers will never get to visit a showroom like this. So I definitely did not hold back and took photos like there was no tomorrow.

The PTMD Collection Showroom is truly exceptionally beautiful. The atmosphere is simply fantastic. And the products, of course, are too 🤩. And what can I say: the decoration is also incredibly beautiful. The Dutch simply know how to do it. But see for yourself … there are still about 10,000 more pictures 🙈 waiting for you, full of the most beautiful PTMD vases, flowerpots, candle holders, candles, furniture, cushions, artificial plants and everything a decoration heart could possibly imagine.
I also would not cry if I were accidentally locked in there overnight. Then I would cuddle and stroke everything 😂. Because no one would see it.

You can find the first part of my impressions from the PTMD Collection Showroom here, by the way. And if you want to see how beautiful PTMD products can look at home, you might also be interested in this post.

PS: By the way, you can find PTMD Collection products in selected flower shops, concept stores and interior shops.

For my decorator heart, the new year only really begins with the trade fairs. And because, from an astrological point of view, 2020 is supposed to be a very special year, as I picked up somewhere, I started the new year with a very special highlight. After all, one has to do justice to such a thing. So my highlight at the beginning of the year was not a wild party, I am slowly getting too old for that, but my visit to the PTMD Collection Showroom.

PTMD Collection is a Dutch interior brand that has been creating products for our homes with great worldwide success since 1992. The brand’s mission, to fill our living rooms with products that create warmth and well-being, has built a worldwide fan base. And yes, I openly admit that I am a fan.

I sold products by PTMD Collection in my shop and online shop for years, and I am really happy that I can take you with me into the impressive PTMD Collection Showroom.
This showroom is truly one of the most beautiful I know. And I am afraid I have to admit that I would rather visit a showroom like this than quite a few museums.

The PTMD Collection Showroom is almost opulently decorated. Even the hallway that leads into the individual decoration theme areas is impressive. A water basin stretches through this space, and the whole area is decorated again and again in an incredibly beautiful way – especially with the amazing artificial plants PTMD Collection is known for. The furniture and accessories, such as vases, planters, cachepots, candle holders, lanterns and candles, are beautifully presented in themed areas. I could spend days there. And of course, I would want to take everything home with me 😂.
Because I took so many photos in the PTMD Collection Showroom, I had to split this post. You can find the second part Showroom by PTMD Collection Part 2 here. And if you want to see how beautiful PTMD products can look at home, you might also be interested in this post.

Dazu wiederum passen meine ganzen Rattan-Dekostücke wirklich gut.

I have already raved about these green cushions from Dekoria in another post. I hugged them, loved them and wrote about them quite extensively. And now I have discovered that monstera and my green cushions get along wonderfully when it comes to decorating.
I find monstera leaves very decorative anyway. They last quite a long time, look lush and a little exotic, and you can really decorate beautifully with them. At the moment, I especially like them in bottles of different heights used as vases. Of course, you could also paint the bottles or decorate them with macramé …

All my rattan decor pieces go really well with them too. It looks natural, but at the same time fresh and a little tropical, which is of course because of the large leaves and all the green. My old rattan thermos jug also fits beautifully into the picture. I love it.
You can find the above-mentioned post, in which I rave about the cushions in detail, here.

Bestellt man so beim Universum 😂😂?

English Version

I have had the cactus cachepots 🌵 since Christmas, but their time simply had not come yet. This week I have a little time and peace of mind for rearranging and decorating. And for cacti. Besides, the pots go so well with my blue cushions and my super fluffy blanket.

I got the cute little monkey as a gift from a friend. Actually, he has two more buddies, but their time has not come yet either. There is only enough space for one monkey 🐒 on my tray.

A similar picture already exists on my blog, by the way. I took it exactly one year ago at Ambiente, and this is the post about it. And now the little guy is sitting on my table. Is this how you place orders with the universe 😂😂? Then I definitely need to upload a few more things here 🙊.

Here comes part 3 of my Ambiente 2018 impressions from Frankfurt. After part 1 and part 2, I still could not stop sharing trade fair photos, because I had simply collected too many beautiful pictures and impressions.

Ambiente 2018 was once again beautiful for me, even though there seem to be fewer and fewer stands that can afford the really opulent stagings. But there are still so many beautiful stands that present their products in a loving and creative way. Everywhere there were cool details to discover. Decoration, colors, candles, tableware, plants, furniture, materials, cushions and basically everything a decoration heart could wish for.
What is also exciting about trade fair impressions like these is that you get to see the most different styles and the craziest ideas. Whether color combinations you would never have tried yourself, or products that do not only make you smile, but sometimes really make you laugh. There really is nothing that does not exist 😂🙈.

Since I really took a lot of photos at Ambiente 2018, I had to split the impressions into three posts. Part 1 and Part 2 of my Ambiente 2018 impressions can also be found here on the blog.

PS: And if you still cannot get enough and want even more Ambiente: here you can find my two posts about Ambiente 2020, Part 1 und Part 2 😂🙈.

Everywhere there was something to discover: elaborately designed trade fair stands, beautiful decorations, interior ideas, colors, artificial plants, materials, candles, tableware and little details. I think I took hundreds of photos. You simply cannot stop yourself when you walk through these halls and constantly see something beautiful, funny, special or inspiring somewhere.

Ambiente 2018 was once again impressive and inspiring for me. Of course, not every stand matches your own style. But that is exactly what makes a fair like this exciting. You see trends, colors, shapes and ideas that you might otherwise not have had on your radar.

Also lasst euch inspirieren …

Ambiente 2018 in Frankfurt was my first trade fair after I had separated myself from my former life with a decoration shop and online shop. Some things about it I miss. Some things not at all 😂🙈.
Of course, I still did not want to miss the chance to visit Ambiente with its impressive and often beautifully staged trade fair stands. I simply still love interior, decoration, tableware and beautiful home ideas far too much.

Ambiente has always been something special to me, and it always will be. You walk through inspiring halls full of colors, decoration, furniture, candles, tableware and endlessly many lovingly arranged little details. Some trade fair stands are designed so elaborately that you hardly know where to look first. Others take you into their own little world. And then, with every third piece, there is this: WANT IT 😂.
In any case, I really enjoyed my time at Ambiente 2018 and took so many photos that I had to turn them into several posts 😂🙈. So let yourself be inspired …
