Letztes Jahr schrieb ich über meinen kleinen Sommer-Liebling, das Armband „Maui“ von Alexfeinwerk. (Könnt ihr hier nachlesen) Ich habe es nur einmal abgenommen und sehr gut weggepackt, damit ich es nicht verliere. Tja, so gut weggepackt, dass ich es nie wieder gefunden habe. Ich habe es quasi vor mir selbst versteckt. Trotz mehrfachen Suchens ist mein kleiner Liebling nicht wieder aufgetaucht.

Jetzt sind seine 2 Geschwister bei mir eingezogen: Auch die Geschwisterchen, haben ein süßes, buntes Bändchen, einen kleinen Muschelanhänger und einen Anhänger aus Süßwasserperle mit Amazonit.
Ratet, was ich den ganzen Sommer nicht tun werde. Jep, sie abnehmen. Nun dürfen sie mit mir an den Strand, im Meer schwimmen und meine Lieblingskosmetikprodukte benutzen, wie zuvor schon das Schwesterchen. Aber sie müssen auch Geschirrspülen, Fensterputzen und wischen. Ich befürchte, das wird ihre Lebenszeit ein wenig verkürzen, aber generell halten die kleinen „Schmuckstücke“ von Alexfeinwerk ja ziemlich viel aus.

Last year I wrote about my little summer favorite, the „Maui“ bracelet from Alexfeinwerk. (You can it here) I only took it off once and packed it away very well so I wouldn’t lose it. Well, packed it away so well that I never found it again. I sort of hid it from myself. Despite several searches, my little darling has not reappeared.

Now his 2 siblings have moved in with me: The siblings too, have a cute colorful ribbon, a small shell pendant and a freshwater pearl pendant with amazonite.
Guess what I won’t be doing all summer? Yep, take them off. Now they get to go to the beach with me, swim in the ocean, and use my favorite beauty products, just like sis did before. But they also have to wash dishes, wash windows and mop. I’m afraid that will shorten their life a little, but generally the little „jewels“ of Alexfeinwerk hold quite a lot.

Zu meinen diesjährigen Sommer-Lieblingen gehört auch mein neues Armband Maui von Alexfeinwerk. Buntes geflochtenes Band meets Muscheln und Perlen. Es ist so süß.

Ich habe es nicht mehr abgenommen, seit ich es habe. Ich befürchte, ich werde es über kurz oder lang zu Tode lieben, da ich mich nicht an die Pflegehinweise von Alexfeinwerk halte. 😂🙊.
Es darf mit mir an den Strand, mit in den Pool, mit ins Bettchen, darf schon Alkohol trinken und meine Pflegeprodukte darf es auch mitbenutzen. Es ist sooo süß, ich will es einfach nicht abnehmen, also verzeiht, dass es nicht mehr nagelneu ist, aber ich will es euch unbedingt zeigen.

Bei dem kleinen Perlenanhänger handelt es sich übrigens um eine echte Süßwasser-Perle mit einem kleinen Amazonitstein. Amazonit soll ja die Lebensfreude steigern können, also perfekt für den Sommer. Und könnt ihr auf den Bildern auch die kleine Lotosblume erkennen? Es ist einfach zu schön. Ich liebe es!

Das Armband gibt es übrigens in drei Farben und ich schätze mein kleiner „Liebling“ bekommt bald ein kleines türkisfarbenes Schwesterchen 🤩…

One of my summer favorites this year is my new bracelet Maui from Alexfeinwerk. Colorful braided ribbon meets shells and beads. It’s so cute.

I haven’t taken it off since I got it. I’m afraid I’ll love it to death sooner or later, since I don’t follow Alexfeinwerk’s care instructions 😂🙊.

It’s allowed to go to the beach with me, in the pool with me, in bed with me, it’s already allowed to drink alcohol and it’s allowed to use my care products too. It’s sooo cute, I just don’t want to take it off, so forgive that it’s not brand new anymore, but I really want to show it to you.
By the way, the little pearl pendant is a real freshwater pearl with a little amazonite stone. Amazonite is said to be able to increase your zest for life, so it’s perfect for summer. And can you see the little lotus flower in the pictures? It’s just too beautiful. I love it!

The bracelet is available in three colors, by the way, and I guess my little „sweety“ will soon get a little turquoise sister 🤩…

Urlaub ist einfach eine herrliche Angelegenheit. Wir verbringen unsere Tage auf Madeira sehr gechillt. Wir entdecken die Insel, wandern oder vertreiben uns die Zeit in Funchal. Alles ganz entspannt.

Da das Wetter hier auf Madeira zurzeit ungewöhnlich gut ist – normalerweise regnet es auf Madeira sehr häufig – verbringe ich auch einige Zeit auf der Terrasse unseres Hotels. Unser Hotel hat nämlich eine tolle Rooftop-Terrasse mit zwei kleinen Infinity-Pools, einer Bar und einem Restaurant. Von der Terrasse hat man einen mega Blick auf das Meer und die Stadt. Die Terrasse empfehle ich übrigens auch Nicht-Hotelgästen für einen Kaffee oder Cocktail.

Die herrlichen Temperaturen hier sind außerdem perfekt, um seinen Sommerlieblingen eine kleine Pause vom Winter zu geben. Schon den ganzen Sommer über und auch hier immer mit dabei sind meine Sommerlieblinge von @alexfinewerk. Diese Lieblingsstücke, die ich euch schon so lange mal richtig zeigen wollte, sind meine „Turtles“ von Alex Feinwerk aus der Tortuga-Serie. Ich habe ein Armband und passend dazu ein Fußkettchen in meiner Lieblingsfarbe Türkis. Als ich Alex im letzten Jahr persönlich getroffen habe, hat mein Turtle zusätzlich noch eine ozeanische Freundin bekommen, die Alex mir geschenkt hat: eine Kauri. Kauris sind ein bisschen wie Pompons bei mir – die dürfen eigentlich überall dran sein. Danke, liebe Alex, das wollte ich schon lange mal sagen.

Vacation is simply a wonderful thing. We’re spending our days in Madeira very relaxed. We explore the island, go hiking, or just pass the time in Funchal. Everything is easy and calm.

Since the weather here in Madeira is unusually good at the moment—normally it rains quite often—I also spend some time on the terrace of our hotel. Our hotel has a beautiful rooftop terrace with two small infinity pools, a bar, and a restaurant. From the terrace, you have an amazing view of the sea and the city. By the way, I also recommend the terrace to non-hotel guests for a coffee or a cocktail.

The lovely temperatures here are also perfect for giving your summer favorites a little break from winter. All summer long, and here as well, my summer favorites from @alexfinewerk have been with me. These favorite pieces, which I’ve been wanting to properly show you for so long, are my “Turtles” by Alex Feinwerk from the Tortuga collection. I have a bracelet and a matching anklet in my favorite color, turquoise. When I met Alex in person last year, my turtle also got an ocean-inspired friend that Alex gifted to me—a cowrie shell. Cowries are a bit like pom-poms for me—they can basically go on anything.

Thank you, dear Alex—that’s something I’ve been wanting to say for a long time.
