CROCHET DRESS

Ich bin wirklich lange um dieses Häkel-Kleid (Affiliate Link) herumgeschlichen. Nicht weil ich mir nicht sicher war, ob es in natura so schön ist wie auf den Fotos, sondern weil ich mir nicht sicher war, ob man so ein Kleid mit 50 noch tragen sollte. Als im Etsy Shop nur noch drei verfügbare Kleider angezeigt wurden, habe ich es gewagt und dieses traumhaft schöne Häkelkleid bestellt. Ich bin übrigens zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass ich es auch mit 50 noch sehr wohl am Strand tragen kann. Das Kleid ist super weich und trägt sich unglaublich angenehm.

Allerdings muss ich zugeben, dass ich am Rücken je einen kleinen Abnäher eingearbeitet habe. Das habe ich von Hand gemacht und es hat genau zehn Minuten gedauert. Und „ich“ heißt in diesem Fall auch eigentlich meine Mutter und ich, aber ich kann mir nicht am Rücken rum nähen, wenn ich das Kleid anhabe. Meine Mutter ist in Sachen Nähen sowieso immer mein Partner in Crime. Sie hat mir das Nähen überhaupt erst beigebracht. Wir haben früher quasi alles selbst genäht, weil es im Osten ja keine schönen Sachen zu kaufen gab. Ich erinnere mich an wirklich süße Sachen, die wir genäht haben und auch an echt grauenvolle Missgeschicke. OMG. Da gab es dieses Kleid zu meiner Jugendweihe 🙈. Ich falle heute noch vor Lachen vom Stuhl, wenn ich Fotos von diesem gruseligen Kleid sehe. Sorry, Mom, Du hast Dich damals durchgesetzt, aber dieses Kleid … 🤣🙈🤷‍♀️
Aber zurück zu dem Häkelkleid. Es ist einfach wunderschön und ich liebe es.

I really lurked around this crochet dress (affiliate link) for a long time. Not because I wasn’t sure if it was as beautiful in person as in the photos, but because I wasn’t sure if you should still wear such a dress at 50. When the Etsy store showed only three available dresses, I took a chance and ordered this gorgeous crochet dress. By the way, I came to the conclusion that I can still very well wear it on the beach at 50. The dress is super soft and wears incredibly comfortable.

However, I have to admit that I put a little dart in the back of each. I did that by hand and it took me exactly ten minutes. And „I“ in this case also actually means my mom and I, but I can’t sew on my back when I have the dress on. My mom is always my partner in crime when it comes to sewing anyway. She taught me how to sew in the first place. We used to sew almost everything ourselves, because there were no nice things to buy in the East. I remember really cute things we sewed and also really horrible mishaps. OMG. There was this dress for my youth dedication 🙈. I still fall out of my chair laughing when I see photos of that creepy dress. Sorry, Mom, you got your way back then, but that dress …. 🤣🙈🤷‍♀️
But back to the crochet dress. It’s just beautiful and I love it.
