Wäscheaufhängen gehört generell nicht zu den Tätigkeiten, die es auf Listen für Lieblingszeitvertreibe schaffen. Und wer Wäscheaufhängen dennoch liebt, mit dem stimmt etwas nicht, soviel steht fest! Aber Ausnahmen bestätigen ja bekanntlich die Regeln.

Ich beispielsweise habe meiner Freundin Sandra den Wäschekorb entrissen. Dieser ist allerdings auch besonders hübsch, nämlich ein süßer geflochtener Korb und die Wäsche darin hätte es nicht stylischer gestalten können. Weiche, nigelnagelneue Baumwollbettwäsche in Senf-Gelb von Dekoria. Hallo, das ist ein Fall für Deko-Junkies. Dieses Körbchen konnte ich Sandra nicht überlassen und ihren Strohhut dazu auch nicht, so gerne ich sie auch habe.

Und dass man vor dem Aufhängen Instagram taugliche Bilder machen muss, leuchtet sicher jedem ein. Ich fotografiere nicht mein Essen, ich fotografiere Wäsche. Findet ihr verrückt? Ahhh, danke für das Kompliment 🫶🏻😂.

Sandra hat es übrigens mit Fassung getragen und wie es sich für eine gute Freundin gehört, brav Fotos von mir beim Wäscheaufhängen gemacht.
Später durfte ich sogar in der entzückenden Bettwäsche schlafen, die übrigens nach Provence geduftet hat.

Hanging laundry is generally not one of those activities that make it onto lists of favorite pastimes. And anyone who still loves hanging laundry has something wrong with them, that’s for sure! But exceptions prove the rules, as we all know.

For example, I snatched the laundry basket from my friend Sandra. However, this is also particularly pretty, namely a sweet woven basket and the laundry in it could not have made it more stylish. Soft, brand new coton bedding in curry yellow from Dekoria. Hello, this is one for decor junkies. I couldn’t let Sandra have this basket, and I couldn’t let her have her straw hat to go with it, as much as I love them.

And the fact that you have to take Instagram-worthy pictures before hanging them is obvious to everyone, I’m sure. I don’t take pictures of my food, I take pictures of laundry. Do you guys think that’s crazy? Ahhh, thanks for the compliment 🫶🏻😂.

Sandra, by the way, took it in stride and, as befits a good friend, dutifully took pictures of me hanging laundry.
Later, I was even allowed to sleep in the delightful bedding, which, by the way, smelled like Provence.

In Deutschland ist es zwar mittlerweile auch oft ziemlich heiß, aber vermutlich ist diese Schlafplatz-Version weiterhin den Menschen in den südlichen Ländern vorbehalten. Für mich kommt so ein Traum-Outdoorbett allerdings nirgendwo infrage, weil ich mich zusätzlich in Moskitonetze hüllen müsste und so ganz traue ich den Dingern von Netzen nicht über den Weg, auch wenn mein Stichheiler mich vor dem Schlimmsten bewahrt. (Mehr über meinen heiligen „Brutzler“ Stichheiler erfahrt ihr in diesem Post.)

Für alle Deko-Fans ist dieses Traum-Outdoorbett, das im Übrigen in der Provence bei meiner Freundin Sandra (Fontaine de Cérier) steht, vielleicht trotzdem eine Inspiration, denn es sieht bestimmt auch drinnen schön aus. Die Leinenbettwäsche von Dekoria ist es etwas grober und fester als die Bettwäsche, die ich vor Kurzem in einem anderen Post vorgestellt habe, aber auch sehr schön. Sandra gefällt sie für die Provence sogar besser.

Und die pinken Samtkissen liebe ich ja ohnehin heiß und innig. Sie sehen einfach überall toll aus und obwohl es Rosatöne sind, sieht die Deko nicht aus, als hätte Barbie zum Dekorieren vorbeigeschaut 🙈😂. Ganz wichtig, wenns um Rosa geht!

In Germany it is meanwhile also often really hot, but this sleeping place version is probably still reserved for people in southern countries. For me, however, such a dream outdoor bed is nowhere in question, because I would have to additionally wrap myself in mosquito nets and so quite I do not trust the things of nets over the way, even if my stab healer saves me from the worst. For all you decor fans, this dream outdoor bed, which incidentally is in Provence at my friend Sandra’s house (Fontaine de Cérier), may still be an inspiration, because it certainly looks beautiful indoors. The linen bedding from Dekoria is a bit coarser and firmer than the bedding I recently presented in another post, but also very nice. Sandra even likes it better for Provence.

And the pink velvet pillows I love hot and hearty anyway. They just look great everywhere and even though they are shades of pink, the decor doesn’t look like Barbie stopped by to decorate 😂🙈. Very important when it comes to pink!

Haltet mich gerne für wahnsinnig, wenn ich schreibe, das Schönste an einem Gästezimmer-Prep ist es, die Betten zu beziehen. Normalerweise ist das Schönste daran, die Handtücher aufs Bett zu legen und zu sagen fertig und die Tür von außen zu schließen, abgesehen davon, den Besuch zu empfangen natürlich. Dieses Mal war das Schönste am Gästezimmer-Prep aber tatsächlich das Bettenbeziehen. Der Grund dafür ist meine neue Bettwäsche. Ich liebe sie.

Ich habe recht lange nach weißer Bettwäsche gesucht. Sie sollte nachhaltig produziert sein, aber auch langlebig und die Qualität sollte passen. Ich liebe es, wenn Bettwäsche fein und leicht ist. Fein und leicht so wie ich es liebe bedeutet eine hohe Fadendichte beziehungsweise Fadenzahl des Baumwollstoffes. Ab einer Fadendichte von 500 wird es richtig spannend, dann bewegt sich die Bettwäsche im Premiumbereich, was so viel heißt wie ab da ist sie richtig toll und blöderweise auch richtig teuer 😂🙈.

Bei meiner Bettwäsche-Suche bin ich über den Linenbundle Shop gestolpert, wo mir das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis fast zu gut um wahr zu sein vorkam. Aber ich habe es mal gewagt und sie bestellt. Nachdem ich die Bettwäsche nun schon eine Weile nutze und auch mehrfach gewaschen habe, kann ich sie euch uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Bettwäsche ist so toll, dass ich mittlerweile noch ein weiteres Set in einer anderen Farbe bestellt habe, die mir optisch fast noch besser gefällt🤩.

Call me crazy, but for me the best part of getting a guest room ready is making the beds. Normally, the highlight is putting the towels on the bed, saying ‘all done,’ and closing the door behind me—apart from welcoming the guests, of course. But this time, the real highlight of the guest room prep was actually making the beds. The reason? My new bedding. I absolutely love it.

Now don’t think I’m insane when I write that the nicest part was making the beds. Usually the nicest part is putting the towels on the bed and saying done and closing the door from the outside, aside from welcoming the visitor of course. This time, however, the nicest part of the guest room prep was actually making the bed. The reason for that is my new sheets. I love them.

I’ve been looking for white bedding for quite a long time. It should be sustainably produced, but also durable and the quality should fit. I love it when bed linen is fine and light. Fine and light as I love it means a high thread density or thread count of the cotton fabric. From a thread density of 500 it gets really exciting, then the bed linen moves in the premium range, which means as much as from there it is really great and stupidly also really expensive😂🙈.

In my bedding search, I stumbled across the Linenbundle Shop, where the price-performance ratio seemed almost too good to be true. But I took a chance and ordered them. Now that I’ve been using the bedding for a while and have also washed it several times, I can recommend it to you without reservation. The bedding is so great that I have since ordered another set in another color, which I like visually even better🤩.

Und das ist die andere Farbe. Die zeige ich irgendwann mal genauer.
