Ich bin Tonja. Auf Zeitgeist Living schreibe ich über Interior, Dekoration, schöne Dinge, Reisen und kleine Alltagslieblinge, die ich wirklich mag.
Viele Themen begleiten mich schon lange – durch meine Arbeit als Dekorateurin, mein früheres Interior-Geschäft und meine Liebe zur Côte d’Azur. Heute ist Zeitgeist Living mein persönlicher Blog für alles, was mich interessiert, was ich schön finde oder selbst empfehlen würde.
Wie alles begann
Nach meiner Ausbildung für visuelles Marketing arbeitete ich als Dekorateurin und gründete nach einiger Zeit mein eigenes Business „Zeitgeist Dekoservice“. Ich gestaltete Schaufenster, arbeitete auf Messen, in Fotostudios und dekorierte Hochzeiten und Partys.
Einige Jahre später eröffnete ich zusätzlich ein Interior-Geschäft.
Zeitgeist Living
Nach einem Wohnortwechsel konzentrierte ich mich auf meine größte Leidenschaft: Interior. Mein Interior-Geschäft „Zeitgeist-Living“ entstand, und ich begann, meine Produkte auch online zu verkaufen. Während dieser Zeit entstand mein erster Blog, auf dem ich über neue Produkte berichtete.
Mittlerweile habe ich mich von meinem Geschäft getrennt und lebe in Deutschland und Nizza. Geblieben ist mein Blog, den ich aus technischen Gründen mittlerweile mehrfach überarbeitet und sogar neu aufgelegt habe.
Wie das hier läuft
Zeitgeist Living ist mein Hobby und meine Leidenschaft. Ich schreibe hier nicht, weil ich unbedingt „Content mit Mehrwert“ 🙉 produzieren möchte, sondern weil ich gerne erzähle – so, wie ich auch mit Freunden erzählen würde.
Manchmal geht es um Interior, manchmal um Reisen, manchmal um schöne Dinge, die mir begegnen. Es soll unterhalten, inspirieren und natürlich empfehle ich auch gerne Dinge, die ich selbst klasse finde.
Ich schreibe, wenn ich Zeit dafür finde. Nicht nach Redaktionsplan, nicht perfekt durchgetaktet, sondern dann, wenn ich etwas zu erzählen habe.

I’m Tonja. On Zeitgeist Living, I write about interior, decoration, beautiful things, travel and little everyday favourites that I genuinely like.
Many of these topics have been part of my life for a long time – through my work as a decorator, my former interior shop and my love for the Côte d’Azur. Today, Zeitgeist Living is my personal blog for everything that interests me, everything I find beautiful or would personally recommend.
How it all began
After my training in visual marketing, I worked as a decorator and, after a while, founded my own business, “Zeitgeist Dekoservice”. I designed shop windows, worked at trade fairs and in photo studios, and decorated weddings and parties.
A few years later, I also opened an interior shop.
Zeitgeist Living
After moving to a new place, I focused on my greatest passion: interior. My interior shop “Zeitgeist-Living” was born, and I also began selling my products online. During that time, my first blog came to life, where I wrote about new products.
By now, I have parted ways with my shop and live in Germany and Nice. What remained is my blog, which I have now revised several times for technical reasons and even relaunched completely.
How things work around here
Zeitgeist Living is my hobby and my passion. I don’t write here because I feel the need to produce “valuable content” 🙉, but because I like to tell stories – the way I would talk to friends.
Sometimes it’s about interior, sometimes about travel, sometimes about beautiful things I come across. It’s meant to entertain, inspire and, of course, I also love recommending things that I personally think are great.
I write when I find the time. Not according to an editorial plan, not perfectly scheduled, but whenever I have something to tell.
