XPOOOS

Do you remember flying? There was this slightly embarrassing situation when you were asked to take off your shoes at the security check. I was always asked to do that. I don’t know what was wrong with my shoes, but I was always asked to take off my shoes. Guaranteed. Those things always had to go on the conveyor belt.

The situation was always embarrassing for me in that I have a tic (another one 🙈):
For example, I wear a comfortable leo dress with tights for the flight, at least that’s how it looks on the outside. In truth, however, I wear a pantyhose leggings, after all from Wolford and in addition in the shoe or boot, well hidden, socks. Boring, high-quality sports socks from Sauerland, which do not match my dress so well that it is just embarrassing. But I hate, hate, hate tights with feet. I wear them only in case of emergency. Even the high quality tights bought in XXXXXL slip and then woman hangs the whole chose in boyfriend style on the body around. Honestly, no one needs that and I hate it. It is so what of the Upturn and socks are for me anyway the total Upturn. Not the socks in the pretty, posed Instagram pictures with gray superfat knit socks, matching sweater and stylish cocoa cup in front of the fireplace. That’s not what I’m talking about. But wear them in regular shoes ….
I mean normal socks. There are Instagram pictures of super styled people and then with socks. Ahhhh🙈🤭.

I almost always walk around barefoot at home. In public, if it goes stockingless or at least so that you do not see the stockings. Yes, I stand by it: Even with almost 50 I show a lot of bare skin. On the foot, mind you. And I claim that only a few people in real life in socks and Adi, Gucci or any other „Letten“ really look hammer and even fewer women look super sexy in socks and high heels. However, I turn a blind eye to the skateboard style.

But since I discovered the socks respectively stockings of XPOOOS, my world is a bit better. From now on I can take my shoes off so casually wherever I have to or want to and people stare at my stockings, but only because they are so cool. I even get asked where to buy them and such hot stuff I have to share with you of course.

By the way, this is not a request to take off your shoes on the plane during a 1.5 hour flight. Noooooo, that is so uhhhh. Even with the coolest sock west of the Urals, that is so not cool. Oh man, I’m really disturbed sometimes. Verena from nicestthings calls it monkish. I think that sums it up pretty well.
