Gestern hatte ich darüber berichtet, dass der Sommer an der Côte d’Azur nun so richtig loslegt. Dafür benötigt man unbedingt die richtige Kleidung. In meinem Fall ein hübsches Kleid.

Warum ich Kleider so liebe, ist ganz einfach: Man muss nicht viel über Kombinationen nachdenken. Man schlüpft in ein Kleid und fertig ist der Lack. Wer unbedingt will, darf sich noch Gedanken über die richtigen Schuhe und eine Tasche machen. Aber das war es dann auch schon. Weniger ist mehr!

Wenn man allerdings auf den perfekten Hintergrund zu seinem Kleid trifft, wie ich auf Madeira, dann MUSS man im Zeitalter von Instagram auch unbedingt Fotos machen. Alter schützt halt vor Torheit nicht. Aber so habe ich eine geniale Urlaubserinnerung, die zurzeit ja doppelt Wertvoll ist.

Yesterday I had reported that the summer on the Côte d’Azur is really starting. For this you absolutely need the right clothes. In my case, a pretty dress.

Why I love dresses so much is very simple: You don’t have to think a lot about combinations. You slip into a dress, and you’re done. If you really want to, you can of course still think about the right shoes and a bag. But that’s all there is to it. Less is more!

If one then also finds the perfect background to one’s dress as I did in Madeira, then in the age of Instagram, one MUST take pictures. „There’s no fool like an old fool.“ But this way I have a brilliant holiday memory, which is twice as valuable at the moment.
