Ich bin wirklich lange um dieses „Crochet Dress“ (Affiliate Link) von Aurobelle Ibiza herumgeschlichen. Nicht, weil ich mir nicht sicher war, ob es in natura so schön ist wie auf den Fotos, sondern weil ich mich gefragt habe, ob man so ein Kleid mit 50 noch tragen sollte. Als im Etsy Shop nur noch drei verfügbar waren, habe ich es gewagt und dieses traumhaft schöne Häkelkleid bestellt.

Und ich bin zu dem Schluss gekommen: Ja, kann man. Und zwar sehr gut. Vor allem am Strand.

Das Crochet Dress ist super weich und trägt sich unglaublich angenehm. Es ist ein handgemachtes, langärmeliges Boho Crochet Dress aus leichter Bio-Baumwolle mit einem tiefen, offenen Rückenausschnitt, was es zu einem echten Ibiza-Kleid macht – luftig, ein bisschen sexy, aber trotzdem entspannt.

Allerdings muss ich zugeben, dass ich am Rücken je einen kleinen Abnäher eingearbeitet habe. Das habe ich von Hand gemacht und es hat genau zehn Minuten gedauert. Und „ich“ heißt in diesem Fall eigentlich meine Mutter und ich – alleine komme ich da hinten nicht ran. Meine Mutter ist in Sachen Nähen sowieso mein Partner in Crime. Sie hat mir das Nähen überhaupt erst beigebracht.

Wir haben früher quasi alles selbst genäht, weil es im Osten ja keine schönen Sachen zu kaufen gab. Ich erinnere mich an wirklich süße Teile, aber auch an einige grauenvolle Missgeschicke. OMG. Da gab es dieses Kleid zu meiner Jugendweihe 🙈 Ich falle heute noch vor Lachen vom Stuhl, wenn ich Fotos davon sehe. Sorry, Mom – Du hast Dich damals durchgesetzt, aber dieses Kleid … 🤣🙈🤷‍♀️.

Aber zurück zu meinem Crochet Dress: Es ist einfach wunderschön und ich liebe es. Es ist genau so ein Kleid, das man in den Urlaub mitnimmt – leicht, unkompliziert und perfekt für heiße Tage. So wie auch meine Pitusa Kleider, über die ich hier schon einmal geschrieben habe.

I circled around this “crochet dress” (Affiliate Link) from Aurobelle Ibiza for quite a while. Not because I wasn’t sure if it would look as beautiful in real life as it does in the photos, but because I wasn’t sure if you can still wear a dress like this at 50. When there were only three left in the Etsy shop, I went for it and ordered this absolutely stunning crochet dress.

And I’ve come to the conclusion: yes, you absolutely can. And very well, too. Especially at the beach.

The crochet dress is incredibly soft and very comfortable to wear. It’s made from lightweight organic cotton, has long sleeves and a deep open back, which gives it that true boho Ibiza feel—light, a little bit sexy, but still relaxed.

I do have to admit, though, that I added a small dart at the back. I did it by hand and it took exactly ten minutes. And “I” in this case really means my mother and me—I can’t exactly sew the back while wearing the dress. My mother has always been my partner in crime when it comes to sewing. She’s actually the one who taught me everything.

We used to sew almost everything ourselves, because back in East Germany there simply weren’t many nice clothes to buy. I remember some really cute pieces, but also a few truly terrible mishaps. OMG. There was this dress I wore for my Jugendweihe 🙈 I still laugh so hard when I see photos of it. Sorry, Mom—you won back then, but that dress… 🤣🙈🤷‍♀️

But back to my crochet dress: it’s simply beautiful and I love it. It’s exactly the kind of dress you pack for a vacation—light, uncomplicated, and perfect for hot days. Just like my Pitusa dresses, which I’ve also written about here.

Der Beitrag CROCHET DRESS – AUROBELLE IBIZA erschien zuerst auf Zeitgeist Living.

Erinnert ihr euch noch an den Hype mit diesen süßen Metallic Flash Tattoo? Mir sind meine Überbleibsel dieses Hypes letztens wieder in die Hände gefallen und ich dachte, dass man sich durchaus mal wieder so ein süßes Flash-Tattoo aufkleben könnte.
Nun mögen mich die tätowierten Ärmelinhaber belächeln, aber es geht mir schließlich nicht darum, tätowiert zu sein. Mir gefällt einfach das Geglitzer.

So ein Metallic-Tattoo ist wie Schmuck, man kann es einfach ablegen, wechseln und passend zum Kleidchen tragen. Außerdem kann man es mit seinem Schmuck kombinieren. Und ihr müsst zugeben, dass dieses Glitzerzeugs auf gebräunter Haut mehr als nur nett aussieht.

Als wir gestern an einem Beachclub zum Dinner waren, haben mehrere Mädels mein glitzerndes „Abziehbildchen“ bewundert und liebevoll gestreichelt. Ich würde mal sagen, noch immer absolut salonfähig.

Now the tattooed sleeve owners may smile at me, but I’m not about being tattooed after all. I just like the glitter.

Such a metallic tattoo is like jewelry, you can easily take it off, change it and wear it to match your dress. Plus, you can match it with your jewelry. And you have to admit that this glitter stuff looks more than nice on tanned skin.

When we were at a beach club for dinner yesterday, several girls admired and lovingly caressed my glittery „decal“. I would say still absolutely presentable.

Letztes Jahr schrieb ich über meinen kleinen Sommer-Liebling, das Armband „Maui“ von Alexfeinwerk. Ratet, was ich den ganzen Sommer nicht tun werde. Jep, sie abnehmen. Nun dürfen sie mit mir an den Strand, im Meer schwimmen und meine Lieblingskosmetikprodukte benutzen, wie zuvor schon das Schwesterchen. Aber sie müssen auch Geschirrspülen, Fensterputzen und wischen. Ich befürchte, das wird ihre Lebenszeit ein wenig verkürzen, aber generell halten die kleinen „Schmuckstücke“ von Alexfeinwerk ja ziemlich viel aus.

Last year I wrote about my little summer favorite, the „Maui“ bracelet from Alexfeinwerk. (You can it here) I only took it off once and packed it away very well so I wouldn’t lose it. Well, packed it away so well that I never found it again. I sort of hid it from myself. Despite several searches, my little darling has not reappeared.

Now his 2 siblings have moved in with me: The siblings too, have a cute colorful ribbon, a small shell pendant and a freshwater pearl pendant with amazonite.
Guess what I won’t be doing all summer? Yep, take them off. Now they get to go to the beach with me, swim in the ocean, and use my favorite beauty products, just like sis did before. Es begann auf Fuerteventura, in einem unserer Lieblingsrestaurants. Ich wollte nach dem Essen kein Dessert und auch nicht den hundertsten Kaffee, als mir der Cocktail des Tages ins Auge fiel: Espresso Martini. Seitdem ist es um mich geschehen. Wie konnte ich Espresso Martini nur vergessen? Es ist mir schleierhaft.
Gefährliche Angelegenheit übrigens, denn ich könnte diesen Cocktail so vor mich hinschlürfen, was man natürlich besser unterlässt. Nicht nur wegen der Gesundheit, sondern weil man nach dem Schlürfen auch nicht mehr nach Hause schlurfen kann 🙈.

Fakt ist jedenfalls, dass ich mit meiner Espresso-Martini-Leidenschaft nicht alleine bin, so angesagt, wie der Cocktail zurzeit ist. Man bekommt ihn quasi überall und sogar in lecker. Sagt jetzt nicht: Ist ja auch keine Kunst. Ich habe in Frankreich schon Cocktails bekommen … Ein Beispiel für einen Caipirinha in Cannes, serviert in einem Sektglas: ein wenig Zucker, irgendein Saft und Alkohol. Farbe: Blau. Ihr versteht, dass ich bei Cocktails vorsichtig bin.

Da man für meinen Lieblingscocktail nur Eis, Espresso, Wodka und Kaffeelikör benötigt, habe ich mir das Equipment für zu Hause zugelegt – samt wunderschöner Gläser (Affiliate Link) und Mix-Set (Affiliate Link). Manche fügen noch Zuckersirup hinzu, ich hingegen mag das nicht. Ich bevorzuge ihn ganz klassisch.

Einfaches Espresso Martini Rezept

1 Teil Espresso
1 Teil Kahlúa
1 Teil Wodka
Eiswürfel

Alles mit Eis kräftig shaken und in ein schönes Glas abseihen. Drei Kaffeebohnen als Deko obendrauf sind natürlich Pflicht 😜.

Außerdem sollte man seinen Gästen so einen Espresso Martini unbedingt in einem hübschen Glas anbieten, ist ja wohl Ehrensache. Und Grund genug, sich endlich die Gläser zuzulegen, die man schon etwas länger anhimmelt 😂.

It started on Fuerteventura, in one of our favorite restaurants. I did not want dessert after dinner, nor the hundredth coffee, when the cocktail of the day caught my eye: Espresso Martini. Since then, it has happened to me. How could I have forgotten about Espresso Martini? It is a mystery to me.
Dangerous business, by the way, because I could sip Espresso Martini like that, which of course is better left undone. Not only because of your health, but also because after sipping, you can no longer shuffle home 🙈.

In any case, the fact is that I am not alone with my Espresso Martini passion, as popular as the cocktail is at the moment. You can get it almost everywhere and even in delicious. Do not say now: It is not an art. I have had cocktails in France before … An example of a Caipirinha in Cannes, served in a champagne glass: a little sugar, some juice and alcohol. Color: blue. You understand that I am cautious about cocktails.

Because all you need for an Espresso Martini is ice, espresso, vodka and coffee liqueur, I got the equipment to make it at home – including beautiful glasses and a cocktail mix set. Some people add sugar syrup, but I personally do not like that. I prefer Espresso Martini in the classic way.

Simple Espresso Martini recipe

1 part espresso
1 part Kahlúa
1 part vodka
ice cubes

Shake everything well with ice and strain into a pretty glass. Three coffee beans on top as decoration are, of course, a must 😜.

Besides, you should definitely serve your guests an Espresso Martini in a pretty glass. A matter of honor, obviously. And reason enough to finally get the glasses you have adored for quite a while 😂.

Das passiert, wenn deine Freundin eine nachträgliche Geburtstagsüberraschung hat und dich verdammt gut kennt: Sie schleppt dich zu ihrem Lieblingsstrand, verwöhnt dich mit leckerem Wein und Essen und schenkt dir einen ganzen Tag mit ihr.

Nein, ich muss das revidieren: Wir waren ja gar nicht an einem Strand, wir waren im Interior-Himmel, wo es ganz zufällig auch leckeres Essen mit allem Drum und Dran gibt samt Espresso Martini. Außerdem habe ich gelernt, dass sich der Interior-Himmel nicht auf Wolke 7 befindet, sondern an einem herrlichen Sandstrand liegt.

In diesem Fall heißt der Deko-Heaven La Plage Bonaventure und ihr findet ihn am Strand von Palavas-les-Flots in der Camargue.
Glaubt mir die meisten Gäste sind erst mal knipsend mit dem Handy durch den Beachclub geschlichen. Staunend und Schockverliebt.

This is what happens when your girlfriend has a belated birthday surprise and knows you pretty darn well: She drags you to her favorite beach, treats you to delicious wine and food, and gives you a whole day with her.

No, I have to revise that: We weren’t at a beach at all, we were in interior heaven, where it just so happens that there’s also delicious food with all the trimmings including an espresso martini. I also learned that Interior Heaven is not on cloud nine, but on a gorgeous sandy beach.

In this case, the Deko-Heaven is called La Plage Bonaventure and you can find it on the beach of Palavas-les-Flots in the Camargue.
Believe me most of the guests first crept through the beach club snapping pictures with their cell phones. Amazed and in love with shock.

Irgendwo auf der Welt ist immer Sommer und deshalb traue ich mich auch ganz ungeniert, Bilder von Strandkleidern zu posten.

Diese Pitusa Sundress Kleider (Affiliate Link) gehören schon seit einiger Zeit zu meinen absoluten Lieblingskleidern im Sommer. Es sind leichte, luftige Sommerkleider, die sich perfekt für Strand, Urlaub und warme Tage eignen. Sie sind unglaublich luftig, das Material ist weich und angenehm auf der Haut, und es gibt sie in so vielen schönen Farben, dass man sich kaum entscheiden kann 🤩.

Und falls sich jetzt jemand fragt: Braucht man vier davon? (Unbedingt 🙈😂!) Natürlich nicht. Sie gehören mir auch nicht alle. Eine Freundin hat sich ein bisschen mit infiziert, und so hatte ich die Gelegenheit, euch gleich mehrere Farben zu zeigen. Die Kleider sind wirklich super weich, bequem und erstaunlich langlebig. Ich habe zwei dieser bezaubernden Pitusa Dresses und trage sie im Sommer ständig. Ich wasche sie ganz unkompliziert im Wollwaschgang in der Maschine, und das machen sie problemlos mit. Es ist genau so ein Kleid, das man einfach immer einpackt, weil es immer passt – am Strand, im Urlaub oder einfach an heißen Tagen zu Hause. So wie auch dieses Häkekleid, das bei mir immer mit darf – darüber habe ich hier schon einmal geschrieben.

Somewhere in the world, it’s always summer, so I feel completely justified posting photos of beach dresses.

These Pitusa sundress dresses (affiliate Link) have been some of my absolute favorites for quite a while now. They are light, airy summer dresses that are perfect for the beach, vacations, and warm days. They are incredibly breezy, the fabric feels soft and comfortable on the skin, and they come in so many beautiful colors that it’s almost impossible to choose 🤩.

And if you’re wondering: Do you really need four of them? (Absolutely 🙈😂!) Of course not. They’re not all mine. A friend of mine got a little obsessed as well, which gave me the chance to show you a few more colors. And you can guess: the blue one is mine—and if it wasn’t, it probably would have secretly jumped into my bag 😂.

The dresses are truly super soft, comfortable, and surprisingly durable. I own two of these beautiful Pitusa dresses and wear them all the time in summer. I simply wash them in the wool cycle in the machine, and they handle it perfectly. It’s exactly the kind of dress you always pack because it just works—at the beach, on vacation, or simply on hot days at home. Zu meinen diesjährigen Sommer-Lieblingen gehört auch mein neues Armband Maui von Alexfeinwerk. Buntes geflochtenes Band meets Muscheln und Perlen. Es ist so süß.

Ich habe es nicht mehr abgenommen, seit ich es habe. Ich befürchte, ich werde es über kurz oder lang zu Tode lieben, da ich mich nicht an die Pflegehinweise von Alexfeinwerk halte. 😂🙊.
Es darf mit mir an den Strand, mit in den Pool, mit ins Bettchen, darf schon Alkohol trinken und meine Pflegeprodukte darf es auch mitbenutzen. Es ist sooo süß, ich will es einfach nicht abnehmen, also verzeiht, dass es nicht mehr nagelneu ist, aber ich will es euch unbedingt zeigen.

Bei dem kleinen Perlenanhänger handelt es sich übrigens um eine echte Süßwasser-Perle mit einem kleinen Amazonitstein. Amazonit soll ja die Lebensfreude steigern können, also perfekt für den Sommer. Und könnt ihr auf den Bildern auch die kleine Lotosblume erkennen? Es ist einfach zu schön. Ich liebe es!

Das Armband gibt es übrigens in drei Farben und ich schätze mein kleiner „Liebling“ bekommt bald ein kleines türkisfarbenes Schwesterchen 🤩…

One of my summer favorites this year is my new bracelet Maui from Alexfeinwerk. Colorful braided ribbon meets shells and beads. It’s so cute.

I haven’t taken it off since I got it. I’m afraid I’ll love it to death sooner or later, since I don’t follow Alexfeinwerk’s care instructions 😂🙊.

It’s allowed to go to the beach with me, in the pool with me, in bed with me, it’s already allowed to drink alcohol and it’s allowed to use my care products too. It’s sooo cute, I just don’t want to take it off, so forgive that it’s not brand new anymore, but I really want to show it to you.
By the way, the little pearl pendant is a real freshwater pearl with a little amazonite stone. Amazonite is said to be able to increase your zest for life, so it’s perfect for summer. And can you see the little lotus flower in the pictures? It’s just too beautiful. I love it!

Ich liebe es, dass meine Freundinnen Spaß daran haben, Kleider anzuprobieren und sich dann auch noch von mir durch die Gegend scheuchen lassen, damit ich sie fotografieren kann. Ich liebe es zu sehen, wie unterschiedlich Kleidung an verschieden Menschen aussieht.

Meine beste Freundin hat im Übrigen schon vor 20 Jahren den Spruch vom Stapel gelassen, dass jede Frau, die meine Wohnung betritt, sich irgendwann auszieht. Und zwar um irgend eins meiner Kleidungsstücke anzuprobieren. Keine Ahnung, warum das so ist, aber tatsächlich ist da was dran. Vermutlich schwärme ich von meinen Lieblingskleidungsstücken oder Lieblingsbrands und animiere meine Freundinnen dazu, die Teilchen unbedingt mal anzuprobieren. Meine beste Freundin wird natürlich nicht müde zu lachen: Geht das schon wieder los. Ein echter Running Gag von uns.

Sandra und ich können Kleidchen-Probieren im Übrigen auch sehr gut.
Und sieht Sandra @ƒontainedecerier nicht toll aus in dem roten Kleid von Aurobelle Ibiza? Sandra und ich sind uns absolut einig: Auch dieses Aurobelle Boho-Kleid hat das Zeug zum Lieblingskleid. Das Baumwollmaterial ist super weich und leicht. Der Schnitt ist einfach großartig und natürlich gibt es auch wunderschöne Boho-Quasten an dem Kleid…

I love that my friends have fun trying on clothes and then let me shoo them around so that I can photograph them. I love seeing how different clothes look on different people.

By the way, my best friend said 20 years ago that every woman who enters my apartment will take off her clothes at some point. And that to try on any of my clothes. I don’t know why that is, but there’s something to it. Probably I rave about my favorite clothes or favorite brands and encourage my friends to try on the pieces. Of course, my girlfriend never tires of laughing: Here we go again. A real running gag from us.

Sandra and I are also very good at trying on dresses.
And doesn’t Sandra @ƒontainedecerier look great in the red dress from Aurobelle Ibiza? Sandra and I absolutely agree: this Aurobelle boho dress also has what it takes to be a favorite. The cotton material is super soft and light. The cut is just great and of course there are also beautiful boho tassels on the dress….

Eins ist sicher, dieses Kleid von Aurobelle gehört jetzt schon zu meinen Lieblingskleidern. Es ist so, so, so toll.

Es ist einfach ein Kleid für den ganzen Tag, ein Feel-Good-Dress sozusagen. Es ist perfekt für den Strand, aber auch für die Stadt und ich kann es mir auch super mit kleinen Fransen-Stiefelchen oder mit Sneakern vorstellen.

Das Baumwoll-Material ist übrigens superweich und leicht. Und die Ärmel, diese süßen Ärmel, ich liebe die Rüschen daran. Dieses Kleid hat mehrere dieser unaufdringlichen Boho-Details, wie zum Beispiel eine eingearbeitete gehäkelte Bordüre.
Auch der Schnitt ist einfach nur toll. Das Kleid ist ziemlich bequem und durch die Schlitze an den Seiten kann man sich richtig gut darin bewegen und Schlitze sind ja auch gar nicht so unsexy …

One thing is for sure, this dress from Aurobelle is already one of my favorite dresses. It is so, so, so great.

It’s just a dress for the whole day: it’s perfect for the beach, but also for the city and I can also imagine it super with little fringed boots or with sneakers.

By the way, the cotton material is super soft and light. And the sleeves, those cute sleeves, I love the ruffles on them. This dress has several of those understated boho details, like a built-in crocheted border.
The cut is just great as well. The dress is quite comfortable and the slits on the sides make it really comfortable to move around in, and slits aren’t that unsexy after all….

Ich hatte ja bereits gestern erzählt, dass ich mir wegen meines kaputten Fußes bei „LEIDER“ noch zwei Paar Schuhe kaufen MUSSTE. 😇

Ein Paar davon waren die Birkenstocks, von denen ich gestern berichtet hatte, und meine anderen NEUEN sind diese hellen Skechers. Ich habe bereits ein Paar schwarze Skechers (ich berichtete hier) und weil sie so leicht und bequem sind, habe ich mir noch ein helles Paar passend zu meinen Kleidern gekauft.

Ich sag Euch, mit denen kann man einfach alles machen, sogar über Brückengeländer klettern, um das beste Foto zu schießen. 🙈 Aber macht das bitte nicht nach, ich glaube, das Wasser ist in Venedig weder sauber noch tief.

I already told you yesterday that I had to buy two pairs of shoes because of my damaged foot. 😇

One pair were the Birkenstocks I told you about yesterday, and my other NEW ones are these white Skechers. I already have a pair of black Skechers (I reported here) and because they are so light and comfortable, I bought one more to match with my clothes.

I tell you, you can do anything with them, even climb over bridge railings to take the best picture. 🙈 But please do not imitate this, I think the water in Venice is not clean and not deep.
