EARLY MORNING & FLAMINGOS

Für ein Sandstrand-Shooting war ich vor Kurzem in der Camargue und hatte die beste Hilfe dabei … @fontainedecerier ist auch in die Camargue gekommen. Zu zweit macht so etwas einfach viel mehr Spaß und es erleichtert auch so einiges. Und wenn es nur darum geht, dass eine Person ein Auge auf das „Zeug“ hat, während man selbst zum hundertsten Mal noch etwas aus dem Auto holen muss.

Wer ein bisschen Spaß am Fotografieren hat, weiß, dass man sagt, dass Fotografieren Licht bedeutet und das dies nicht heißt: Viel hilft viel. Man braucht das richtige Licht und das gibt es am frühen Morgen und am frühen Abend. Der frühe Abend ist mit der Ausgangsbeschränkung ab 19.00 Uhr momentan keine Option und auch sonst sind am Abend meist zu viele Menschen unterwegs. Wer gute Fotos machen will, muss also im Allgemeinen früh aufstehen und ich meine damit verdammt früh aufstehen, nämlich noch vor Sonnenaufgang.

In der Camargue sind wir am ersten Tag für unser frühes Aufstehen mit einem wahnsinns Sonnenaufgang belohnt worden und haben außerdem noch Flamingos im aufsteigenden Nebel vor die Linse bekommen. Eine unglaublich schöne Atmosphäre und wir waren völlig allein unterwegs.

For a sandy beach shoot I was recently in the Camargue and had the best help with it … I met @fontainedecerier in the Camargue. In pairs something like this is just so much more fun and it also makes things so much easier. And if it’s just a matter of one person keeping an eye on the „stuff“ while you have to get something out of the car yourself for the hundredth time.

Anyone who has a bit of fun with photography knows that they say that photography means light and that this doesn’t mean that a lot helps a lot. You need the right light and that is available in the early morning and early evening. Early evening is not an option at the moment with the curfew starting at 7:00 pm and otherwise in the evening there are usually too many people out and about. So if you want to take good photos, you generally have to get up early and I mean get up damn early, namely before sunrise.

In the Camargue, we have been rewarded on the first day for our early rising with an amazing sunrise and have also got flamingos in the rising fog in front of the lens. An incredibly beautiful atmosphere and we were completely alone on the road.
