Bis vor Kurzem hatte ich noch davon geträumt, dass sich das Jahr 2021 wenigstens ab der zweiten Hälfte noch ein wenig mausern würde, aber irgendwie zeichnet sich das totale Gegenteil ab. In Frankreich wird fast täglich der erneute totale Lockdown erwartet, Spanien hat angekündigt 2021 keine Touristen aus dem Ausland zu erlauben, und Frau Merkel würde auch nur zu gerne den kompletten Flugverkehr lahmlegen.

In Anbetracht der sich verhärtenden Gerüchte von letzter Woche, dass der dritte Lockdown droht, bin ich spontan in die Provence zu @fontainedecerier gefahren. Wer weiß, wie lange das noch möglich ist.

Einen der Tage hat Sandra mich mit einem Ausflug in die Camargue überrascht. Ich war noch nie in der Camargue und sie war der Meinung, dass ich mal wieder etwas „lernen“ sollte. Hätte ich doch früher in der Schule auch solche Lehrer gehabt. Und wir hatten Glück, denn in der Camargue habe ich das volle Touri-Programm zu sehen bekommen: Weiße Camargue-Pferde, massenhaft Flamingos und einen wunderschönen, langen Sandstrand. Nur die Stiere haben noch gefehlt, aber die gibt es dann beim nächsten Mal.

Da in ganz Frankreich schon seit einiger Zeit von 18:00 bis 6:00 Uhr eine Ausgangssperre herrscht, mussten wir immer ein wachsames Auge auf die Uhrzeit haben. Das ist schon ein merkwürdiges Gefühl.

One of the days Sandra surprised me with a trip to the Camargue. I’ve never been to the Camargue before and she felt I should „learn“ something again. If only I had had such teachers in school in the past. And we were lucky, because in the Camargue I got to see the full tourist program: White Camargue horses, masses of flamingos and a beautiful, long sandy beach. Only the bulls have still been missing, but there are then the next time.
Since there has been a curfew in all of France from 6pm to 6am for some time now, we always had to keep a watchful eye on the time. That is already a strange feeling.
