I NEED YOUR HELP …

Während sich eine Menge Leute zurzeit darüber freuen, geimpft zu werden, impfe ich gerade täglich stundenlang und das, obwohl ich keine medizinische Ausbildung habe. Ich impfe nämlich meinen noch gar nicht allzu alten Bücherschrank. Doktorspielchen könnte man wohl sagen.
Ich bin allerdings nicht sonderlich amused über das Spielchen, denn in meinen Schrank scheint sich eine Holzwurm-Großfamilie ziemlich wohl zu fühlen.

Zuerst musste ich alle Bücher aus dem Schrank räumen, ohh man wo kommen die nur alle her, ich downloade Bücher doch mittlerweile und höre das meiste über Bookbeat. Ich habe jedes einzelne Buch auf verirrte Holzwürmer untersucht und die Bücher in ein anderes Zimmer gebracht. Dann habe ich den Schrank mit einem einigermaßen umweltfreundlichen Gift eingesprüht und bearbeite nun Einzelstellen mit der Spritze nach. Außerdem habe ich Eicheln ausgelegt, die angebliche Lieblingsspeise von Holzwürmern. Nach einer Woche finde ich immer noch ein paar Stellen, an denen sich „Sägemehl-Häufchen“ bilden. 🥴 Diese Biester.😡

Hat noch jemand ein paar Tipps für mich in Sachen Holzwurm-Bekämpfung? Ich bin natürlich etwas beunruhigt, denn einen Holzwurm in meiner Schnitzerei fänd ich so was von uncool… Also, wer ein paar Tipps hat, raus damit, insbesondere, was unzugängliche Stellen angeht.

While a lot of people are currently excited about being vaccinated, I’m vaccinating for hours every day right now, and that’s despite the fact that I have no medical training. I’m vaccinating my not-too-old bookcase. Doctor’s games, I guess you could say.
However, I am not very amused about the game, because in my closet a big woodworm family seems to feel quite comfortable.

First I had to clear all the books out of the closet, ohh man where do they all come from, I download books but meanwhile and listen most of the books via Bookbeat. I checked every single book for stray woodworms and moved the books to another room. Then I sprayed the closet with a reasonably environmentally friendly toxin and am now reworking individual spots with the injection. I also put out acorns, supposedly the favorite food of woodworms. After a week, I still find a few spots where „sawdust“ piles up.🥴 Those beasts.😡

Does anyone else have some tips for me on woodworm control? Needless to say, I’m a little concerned because I would so not find a woodworm in my carving. So, if anyone has some tips, out with it, especially as far as inaccessible areas are concerned.
