Heute habe ich einfach Lust auf nichts beziehungsweise Lust auf Nichtstun. Kennt ihr das? Draußen haben wir 32 Grad und das Vernünftigste an so einem Samstag ist das süße, faule Leben in vollen Zügen zu genießen. Haben wir auch einfach mal gemacht, denn wir waren heute in Saint Tropez.

Als Erstes muss ich ein Geständnis machen: Ich habe nicht ein einziges Foto gemacht und auch kein einziges Video gedreht. Ich bin einfach mal niemanden damit auf den Keks gegangen, an jeder Ecke stehen zu bleiben und rumzuknipsen…

In Saint Tropez ist nun alles, wie es immer war. Der Hafen ist voll mit Booten und der Ort voll mit Touristen. Längst nicht mit so vielen Touristen wie sonst, aber in Frankreich beginnen die Ferien auch gerade erst.

Der Markt ist nun übrigens nicht mehr geteilt, und die Stände stehen so eng wie immer. Er ist voll wie eh und je. Wer will, trägt einen Mundschutz, eine Masken-Pflicht besteht nicht.

In den Restaurants stehen definitiv weniger Tische und an den Stränden ist mehr Platz zwischen den Liegen, was bedeutet, das man unbedingt reservieren sollte.

Wir hatten eine Reservierung für ein Lunch am Strand und es war herrlich. Wie ich es liebe, meine Füße im Sand zu vergraben. Schade, dass Nizza einen Steinstrand hat. Ich werde mich heute nur noch um meine „Hausaufgaben“ kümmern und das wars.

Today I simply feel like doing nothing or rather like doing nothing. You know what that is? Outside it’s 32 degrees and the best thing to do on a Saturday like this is to enjoy the sweet, lazy life to the full. That’s what we did once, because we were in Saint Tropez today.

First, I have a confession to make: I didn’t take a picture or make a video. I just didn’t bother anyone by stopping on every corner and taking pictures…

In Saint Tropez everything is now as it always was. The harbour is full of boats and the place is full of tourists. Long time not with as many tourists as usual, but in France, the holidays are just starting.

By the way, the market is now not divided any more and the stands are as narrow as always. It is full as always. Whoever wants to, wears a mouth guard, there is no obligation to wear a mask.

In the restaurants, there are definitely less tables and at the beaches there is more space between the deck chairs, what means that one should definitely reserve.

We had a reservation for a lunch at the beach and it was wonderful. How I love to bury my feet in the sand. Too bad that Nice has a stone beach. I’ll just do my „homework“ today and that’s it.
