Derzeit blühen in Frankreich die Mimosen. Ganze Hänge und Straßen sind gelb und duften. Ich sehe das tatsächlich auch zum ersten Mal, und so ist mir bisher auch noch nie aufgefallen, wie stark der Duft ist, wenn man zur Blütezeit durch so eine von Mimosen gesäumte Straße läuft. Das ist wirklich unglaublich.
Ich habe mir mal ein Sträußchen gekauft – nein, nicht einfach abgesäbelt 😂🙈. Und nun duftet es hier auch.

Right now the mimosas are in bloom in France. Entire hillsides and streets are glowing yellow and full of fragrance. It’s actually the first time I’ve seen it myself, and I had never noticed before how strong the scent is when you walk down a street lined with mimosas in full bloom. It’s truly incredible.
I treated myself to a little bouquet—no, I didn’t just hack one off 😂🙈. And now the scent is filling my french home too.
