Am Montagmorgen klingelte um 3:45 Uhr in Venedig unser Wecker und es ging bei Regen mit dem Wassertaxi zum Flughafen. Während der Nacht hatte es ein heftiges Gewitter gegeben und ich war froh, dass es auf dem Weg zum Flughafen nur noch geregnet hat, ganz ohne Blitz, Donner und Hagel. Leider hatte ich in der Nacht kaum geschlafen und war den ganzen Tag todmüde.
Der Flug verlief, Gott sei Dank, ohne Komplikationen.

Seit Montag bin ich nun in meiner alten Heimat und genieße die Zeit mit Familie und Freunden. Ich habe ein bisschen das Gefühl, nicht allen so richtig gerecht zu werden, aber das ist zurzeit vermutlich auch gar nicht möglich. Es gibt so viel Neues in meiner alten Heimat, Dinge wie Katzenbabys oder auch Hochzeitspläne…

Von Nizza dagegen höre ich, von einer Maskenpflicht von 10:00 Uhr bis 01:00 Uhr auf diversen Straßen …

On Monday morning our alarm clock was ringing at 3:45am in Venice and we took the water taxi to the airport in the rain. During the night there had been a heavy thunderstorm and I was glad that it only rained on the way to the airport, without thunder, lightning and hail. Unfortunately I had hardly slept during the night and was dead tired the whole day.
The flight went, thank God, without complications.

Since Monday I am now in my old home and enjoy the time with family and friends. I have a bit the feeling that I can’t really do all of them justice, but that’s probably not even possible at the moment. There are so many news in my old home, things like baby cats or wedding plans…

From Nizza, I hear about a mask obligation from 10:00 o’clock to 01:00 o’clock on various streets …
