Wenn ich jetzt schreibe „Happy New Year“dann ist das vermutlich ein bisschen spät. Egal, ich mache es trotzdem. Also: Happy New Year!

Ich brauchte erst mal eine kleine „soziale Wiedereingliederungszeit“ zum Jahresanfang. Wir waren dieses Jahr über Weihnachten endlich wieder mit der Familie zusammen und danach sind wir direkt weiter nach Fuerteventura geflogen. (Wie halb Deutschland auch😂🙈)

Wir hatten mit Freunden ein wunderschönes Haus gemietet und die Zeit hätte nicht entspannter sein können. Wir haben viel unternommen und auch eine Menge Zeit am Pool verbracht. Silvester haben wir beispielsweise einfach gegrillt. Die Silvester-Dinner-Menu-Abende in Restaurants sind meistens sowieso nicht unser Ding und viele Restaurants hatten über Silvester auch geschlossen. Ich kann gar nicht sagen, ob das über Silvester auf Fuerteventura immer so ist, oder ob das nun Corona-bedingt so war, für uns war Grillen jedenfalls perfekt.

Und sonst habe ich auf der Insel natürlich 225.000 Bilder geknipst und werde sie in Kürze mit euch teilen.

If I write „Happy New Year“ now, it’s maybe a bit late. Anyway, I’ll do it anyway. So: Happy New Year!

I needed a little „social reintegration time“ at the beginning of the year. We were finally together with the family again this year over Christmas and then we flew straight on to Fuerteventura. (As did half of Germany 🙈😂)

We had rented a beautiful house with friends and the time could not have been more relaxed. We made many activities and also spent a lot of time at the pool. New Year’s Eve, for example, we just had a barbecue. New Year’s Eve dinner menu nights in restaurants are usually not our thing anyway and many restaurants were closed over New Year’s Eve as well. I can not say if this is always the case on New Year’s Eve in Fuerteventura, or if it was Corona-related, for us barbecue was perfect.

And otherwise, of course, I have snapped 225,000 pictures on the island and will share them with you very soon.
