Jeder, der lange Haare hat oder je hatte, wird mir zustimmen: Kein Haargummi ist wie das andere. Manche passen einfach nicht zu meiner Haardichte. Schlage ich das Haargummi dreimal um den Zopf, habe ich das Gefühl, skalpiert zu werden. Zweimal ist es zu locker und rutscht – und sieht obendrein auch noch bescheuert aus.

Außerdem sollte man ein Haargummi auch am Handgelenk tragen können, ohne dass der Arm blau anläuft. 🤪 Und gut aussehen muss es natürlich auch – wer will schon mit einem „Schlüpfer-Gummi“ am Handgelenk rumlaufen. Und dann wäre es noch schön, wenn es eine gewisse Lebensdauer hat. Von diesen Plastikdingern war ich übrigens nie ein Fan.

In einem Surf-Shop habe ich dann mein perfektes Haargummi entdeckt: das Kknekki Haargummi (Affiliate Link). ich habe ein paar zum testen mitgenommen, aber mittlerweile habe ich meine Sammlung deutlich erweitert – und ein paar Freundinnen gleich mit angesteckt.

Das Kknekki Haargummi gibt es in unzähligen Farben und Farbkombinationen. Mein Freund hat einmal zu mir gesagt: „Dein Haargummi passt ja perfekt zu deinem Kleid“ – und war ganz erstaunt. Ich liebe solche kleinen Details.

Die Kknekki Haargummis sehen am Handgelenk fast aus wie Armbänder und passen gefühlt zu jeder Haardichte. Dadurch lassen sie sich auch perfekt zu meinen Armbändern kombinieren – ich mogele sie manchmal einfach darunter. Und noch besser: Sie passen sogar zu meinem Apple Watch Boho Armband – darüber habe ich hier schon einmal geschrieben. Das finde ich natürlich ziemlich genial.

Aber das Beste: Ich reiße mir damit keine Haare aus. Wirklich nie. Ein Phänomen. Normalerweise muss ich meine Haargummis regelmäßig mit einer Nagelschere von kleinen Haar-Knubbeln befreien. Das habe ich bei den Kknekki Haargummis bisher noch nie machen müssen. Und selbst wenn sie irgendwann etwas ausleiern, halten sie wirklich lange.

Ich bin totaler Fan. Ich bringe die Kknekki Haargummis übrigens auch gerne als kleines Mitbringsel mit – vor allem für Freundinnen mit langen Haaren. So ein kleines Set kommt immer gut an – versprochen 🫶🏻.

Anyone who has long hair – or has ever had long hair – will agree: no hair tie is like the other. Some just don’t work with my hair thickness. If I wrap it three times around my ponytail, it feels like I’m scalping myself. Twice is too loose and it slips – and looks ridiculous on top of that.

And a good hair tie should also be wearable on your wrist without cutting off your circulation. 🤪 It should look good too – who wants to walk around with something that looks like underwear elastic on their wrist? And ideally, it should last a while. I was never a fan of those plastic ones, by the way.

In a surf shop, I finally found my perfect hair tie: the Kknekki hair tie (affiliate link). I first picked up a few just to try them, but by now my collection has grown quite a bit – and I’ve already converted a few friends as well.

The Kknekki hair tie comes in countless colors and color combinations. My boyfriend once said to me, “Your hair tie matches your dress perfectly” – and was genuinely surprised. I love those little details.

Kknekki hair ties almost look like bracelets when worn on the wrist and seem to work with any hair thickness. I also like to combine them with my bracelets – sometimes I just sneak them in between. And even better: they match my Apple Watch Boho bracelet as well – I’ve written about that here before. I absolutely love that.

But the best part: they don’t pull out my hair. Never. It’s almost unbelievable. Normally, I have to clean my hair ties regularly with small scissors to remove those annoying hair knots. I’ve never had to do that with Kknekki hair ties. And even though they eventually loosen a bit over time, they really last a long time.

I’m a total fan. I also love bringing Kknekki hair ties as a small gift – especially for friends with long hair. A little set like that is always appreciated – I promise 🫶🏻.
