Heutzutage tragen die meisten Menschen keine schnöde Uhr mehr am Arm, sondern ein Ding, das die Zeit anzeigt, bei seinem Markennamen genannt wird und einen gewissen Status symbolisiert. Oder man hat sich dazu entschieden, ein Ding am Arm zu tragen, das haufenweise Daten in die Welt raushaut, mit dem man gefühlt mindestens bis zum Mond fliegen kann und das womöglich in Kürze auch als Defibrillator fungieren wird, wenn das Uhren-Daten-Sende-Dings am Arm glaubt, unser Herz bringt es nicht mehr.
In meinem Fall zum Beispiel, wenn ich zu Fuß bis in den elften Stock eines Hochhauses gelaufen bin, weil der Fahrstuhl nicht funktioniert hat 😂😂. Spaß beiseite. Ich trage so ein Daten-Sende-Monster ja auch, aber manchmal muss eine Uhr eben nicht nur praktisch sein, sondern auch schön. Eine Uhr zu tragen, finde ich auch insofern gut, weil ich dann nicht ständig auf mein Handy schaue, nur um zu wissen, wie spät es ist. Denn wenn man erst einmal auf sein Handy schaut, ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes alles zu spät. Ich lese in dem Fall nämlich noch schnell 200 Mails und muss danach natürlich die Welt retten …

Daher bin ich für Kooperationen mit Uhrenherstellern durchaus empfänglich. Und wenn die Uhren dann noch Nachhaltigkeit versprechen und in Deutschland gefertigt werden, ist mein Interesse vollends geweckt.

Und so kam ich zu einer wunderschönen Holzhütte Holzuhr Pearland (gespons. Artikel). Die Holzhütte Holzuhr, die ich mir ausgesucht habe, ist in natura noch viel schöner, als ich sie mir vorgestellt habe.
Eigentlich verdient diese Holzhütte Holzuhr den Namen Boho-Style-Uhr, denn sie lässt sich so toll mit meinen ganzen Armbändern, Täschchen und Kleidern kombinieren. Um euch das mal zu demonstrieren, bin ich extra zum Strand losgezogen und habe mal wieder eine Freundin genötigt, sich am Strand zum Kasper zu machen und sich von mir herumscheuchen zu lassen. Sie meinte, wenn sie die Uhr dafür behalten dürfe, würde das in Ordnung gehen. Im Klartext: Sie fand die Holzuhr auch echt klasse. Wir haben einfach mal ein paar Schnappschüsse in verschiedenen Kombinationen gemacht. Mit Kleidchen und mit Armbändern, so wie ich es mag.
Wie man auf den Bildern sieht, passt die Uhr zu meinen Strandkleidern genauso gut wie zu meinem neuesten Herbstkleid. Und ich kann mir auch vorstellen, wie gut die Uhr sich im winterlichen Style macht. Ich muss mich gar nicht anstrengen, um mir vorzustellen, wie perfekt sich eine Holzhütte Holzuhr vor einem knisternden Kaminfeuer mit Wollsocken, Strickpulli, Kakao und Buch macht.

Zu meiner Holzuhr selbst: Wie schon gesagt, ist sie von der Firma Holzhütte und das Modell mit dem hübschen roségoldfarbenen Zifferblatt heißt Pearland. Die Uhr bekam ich in einer schönen Holzbox geliefert, in der das Firmenlogo Holzhütte eingraviert ist. Die Uhr lag in der Box auf einem Kissen.

Sowohl Gehäuse als auch Armband der Uhr sind zum größten Teil aus Holz gefertigt. Laut Beschreibung wurden verschiedene Hölzer verarbeitet, unter anderem Zebranoholz, das möglicherweise für die schöne Maserung verantwortlich ist.

Das Armband der Uhr war mir um einiges zu lang, aber in der Box wurde ein Werkzeug mitgeliefert, um das Armband zu kürzen. Erst war ich etwas skeptisch, ob ich das hinbekomme, aber es war mit dem Werkzeug wirklich ganz easy. Mit dem Werkzeug presst man die Stifte heraus, die man allerdings auch ganz einfach wieder einsetzen kann.
Was mir besonders gut gefällt und auch meine Freundin am Strand beeindruckt hat, ist das Gewicht der Holzuhr. Sie ist unglaublich leicht und obwohl sie so leicht ist, macht sie trotzdem einen wirklich hochwertigen Eindruck.
Die Maserung des Holzes ist wunderschön und auch das roségoldfarbene Zifferblatt sieht toll aus. Außerdem finde ich das leise Ticken der Holzuhr total süß, fast entspannend, und irgendwie erinnert es mich an Kindheit.
Dass mir der Nachhaltigkeitsgedanke, die Verwendung nachwachsender Rohstoffe und die Herstellung in Deutschland gefällt, muss ich sicher nicht noch einmal betonen.

In that case, I quickly read 200 emails and of course have to save the world afterwards …
That is why I am quite open to collaborations with watch manufacturers. And if the watches also promise sustainability and are made in Germany, my interest is fully awakened.

Holzhütte Pearland wooden watch in boho style

And that is how I got a beautiful Holzhütte Pearland wooden watch. The Holzhütte wooden watch I chose is even more beautiful in real life than I had imagined.
Actually, this Holzhütte wooden watch deserves the name boho-style watch, because it can be combined so beautifully with all my bracelets, little bags and dresses. To demonstrate this to you, I went to the beach and once again made a friend act like a little clown on the beach and let me boss her around. She said that if she was allowed to keep the watch for it, that would be fine. In plain language: she really liked the wooden watch too. We simply took a few snapshots in different combinations. With little dresses and bracelets, just the way I like it.
As you can see in the pictures, the watch goes just as well with my beach dresses as it does with my newest autumn dress. And I can also imagine how well the watch would work in a winter style. I do not even have to try hard to imagine how perfect a Holzhütte wooden watch would look in front of a crackling fireplace with wool socks, a knitted sweater, cocoa and a book.

About my wooden watch itself: As I said, it is from Holzhütte and the model with the pretty rose-gold-colored dial is called Pearland. The watch arrived in a beautiful wooden box with the Holzhütte company logo engraved on it. The watch was placed on a cushion inside the box.

Both the case and the bracelet of the watch are mostly made of wood. According to the description, different types of wood were used, including zebrano wood, which may be responsible for the beautiful grain.
The bracelet of the watch was quite a bit too long for me, but the box included a tool to shorten it. At first I was a little skeptical whether I would manage it, but with the tool it was really easy. With the tool, you press out the pins, which you can also put back in quite easily.
What I especially like, and what also impressed my friend at the beach, is the weight of the wooden watch. It is incredibly light and although it is so light, it still makes a really high-quality impression.
The grain of the wood is beautiful and the rose-gold-colored dial also looks lovely. I also find the quiet ticking of the wooden watch totally sweet, almost relaxing, and somehow it reminds me of childhood.
I certainly do not have to emphasize again that I like the idea of sustainability, the use of renewable raw materials and the production in Germany.
