Ich will gar nicht lange in Sachen Valentinstag herumschwafeln, schließlich lasse ich „Valentine“ immer ausfallen. Aber er steht nun mal vor der Tür und hier habe ich einen schönen Tipp für euch. Man kann zum Beispiel einer Freundin, die weiter weg wohnt, oder der Mutter einfach online etwas Schönes aussuchen und direkt dorthin schicken lassen. Gerade kleine Onlineshops wie der von Alex Feinwerk machen das oft mit viel Liebe. Wenn man eine kleine Notiz dazuschreibt, dass es eine Überraschung ist, wird es meistens besonders schön verpackt. Und dann bekommt man von der Freundin im besten Fall einen ganz aufgeregten Anruf mit Quietschen und Kreischen. Ich liebe das ❤️.

Das ist eine schöne Möglichkeit, etwas zu verschenken, insbesondere, wenn man nicht einfach mit Blumen vor der Tür stehen kann. Und manchmal braucht es ja gar keinen großen Anlass. Und jetzt verrate ich euch auch noch, warum es bei mir keinen Valentinstag gibt. Nicht, weil ich den Tag doof finde oder keine kleinen Geschenke, Überraschungen und Dinner-Dates mag. Mag ich alles sogar sehr. Aber ich darf am Valentinstag richtig feiern und bekomme fette Geschenke – hoffe ich zumindest –, denn ich habe am Valentinstag Geburtstag.

Außerdem: Was haltet ihr von meinem Kleid? Das habe ich nämlich selbst genäht. Es ist aus hauchdünner Seide und trägt sich bei Hitze einfach fantastisch. I do not want to ramble on about Valentine’s Day for too long, especially since I always skip “Valentine”. But it is just around the corner, and I have a lovely little tip for you. Small gifts, surprises and beautiful pieces of jewelry like these are of course not only lovely for Valentine’s Day, but also for birthdays, Christmas or simply just because. But today, I would like to remind you of Valentine’s Day.

And now I will also tell you why I do not celebrate Valentine’s Day. Not because I think the day is silly or because I do not like little gifts, surprises and dinner dates. I actually like all of that very much. But I get to celebrate properly on Valentine’s Day and receive big presents – at least I hope so – because my birthday is on Valentine’s Day.
