GOOD NEWS FROM FRANCE

So lange haben wir darauf gewartet, dass wieder ein gewisses Maß an Normalität eintritt und nun, wo es so weit ist, tritt die Freude darüber komplett in den Hintergrund über all das, was gerade geschieht. Dennoch möchte ich kurz ein Update dazu schreiben, denn irgendwie sind es good News und davon können wir gerade nicht genug bekommen.
So gibt es zum Beispiel gute Nachrichten für alle, die eine Reise nach Frankreich planen.

Am Montag, den 14.03.22 wurden in Frankreich die meisten Corona-Beschränkungen aufgehoben. Das bedeutet, dass man Restaurants, Bars und Veranstaltungen ohne Impfpass oder Maske besuchen kann. Ja auch die Maskenpflicht wurde aufgehoben. Eine Maskenpflicht besteht nur noch im Nah-und-Fernverkehr und in Einrichtungen wie Krankenhäusern und Altenheimen.

Ich hatte angenommen, dass ich ab sofort im Supermarkt fast nur noch Menschen ohne Maske sehen werde, aber derzeit trägt die Mehrheit der Franzosen weiterhin eine Maske.Außerdem benötigt man für die Rückreise nach Deutschland keine Digitale Einreiseanmeldung mehr, da Frankreich nicht mehr als Risikogebiet gilt. Das sind doch schon mal Fortschritte, die das Reisen um einiges erleichtern werden.

Für die Einreise nach Frankreich und die Rückreise nach Deutschland und für eine Flugreise sind allerdings weiterhin Impfpässe, Genesenennachweise oder negative Testergebnisse erforderlich, das solltet ihr unbedingt bei eurer Reiseplanung berücksichtigen.

For such a long time we have been waiting for a certain degree of normality to return and now that it has, the joy about it completely takes a back seat to all that is happening. Nevertheless, I would like to write a short update about it, because somehow it’s good news and we can’t get enough of it right now.
So, for example, there is good news for all who are planning a trip to France.

On Monday 3/14/22, most Corona restrictions were lifted in France. This means that you can visit restaurants, bars and events without a vaccination pass or a mask. Yes also the mask obligation was lifted. There is now only a mask requirement for local-and-long-distance travel and in facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes.

I had expected that from now on I would see almost people without masks in the supermarket, but currently the majority of French people continue to wear a mask. In addition, you no longer need a digital entry registration for the return trip to Germany, because France is no longer considered a risk area. That’s some progress that will make traveling a lot easier.

For the entry to France and the return journey to Germany and for a flight, you still need a vaccination pass, proof of recovery or negative test results, which you should consider when planning your trip.
