Another must-see on Fuerteventura are the white dunes of Corralejo. I had always thought so a few walking dunes …, but the area is huge. And if you walk a little further into the dune landscape, you feel like in the desert and is for yourself. The handstand, headstand, I do yoga and bounce Instagram mop rages rather near the road. The sand, by the way, is also as soft as the desert sand I know from Morocco, which makes the beach quite popular in the area. However, Fuerteventura has beautiful white sand beaches all over the island, unlike the rest of the Canary Islands. By the way, if you love long walks on the beach, I recommend Jandia and Cofete with their famous long white beaches.

What you should pay attention to, if you want to stop at the side of the road to take some pictures, is the sand. The sand can be quite treacherous and we saw a few cars that had gotten stuck. We know this from the Sahara in Morocco and were careful, but both in Corralejo and Cofete cars and campers had dug in.

Ps: Who wonders if I only had this one dress with me ….yes and no I had tons of luggage: Christmas gifts, winter clothes, summer clothes and a part of the Shahe Lele collection 2022. Believe me the dresses are awesome, but it still takes a bit until I can show you the pictures.

Bisous Tonja
