Es ist Sommer und diese wunderschönen farbenfrohen Armbändchen begleiten mich derzeit überall hin. Letztes Jahr habe ich euch das gelbe Schwesterchen in einem Blogpost vorgestellt und wie schon die Sis so dürfen auch diese beiden Schönheiten alles miterleben.
Sie dürfen mit mir in den Pool, sie begleiten mich zum Strand, trinken mit mir Wein oder schwitzen mit mir beim Sport. Ich liebe diese Bändchen mit einer echten Süßwasserperle, einem Amazonit und einer kleinen goldenen Muschel von AlexFeinwerk. Leider habe ich das „Schwesterchen“ verloren oder vor mir selbst versteckt.

It’s summer and these beautiful colorful bracelets currently accompany me everywhere. Last year I introduced you to the yellow little sister in a blog post and as already the Sis so these two beauties may also experience everything.
They may with me in the pool, they accompany me to the beach, drink wine with me or sweat with me in sports. I love these bracelets with a real freshwater pearl, an amazonite and a small golden shell from AlexFeinwerk. Unfortunately, I lost the „little sister“ or hid it from myself.

Fußkettchen Tortuga bei AlexFeinwerk (15% Zeitgeist15)

Ehrlich gesagt habe ich keine Ahnung von Tarotkarten. Aber dieses Tarot-Kartendeck von Dali habe ich im Taschen-Flagship-Store in Paris entdeckt und war sofort Feuer und Flamme. Aber es ist ganz schön groß (ca. 35×20 cm) und nicht unbedingt Handgepäck geeignet, daher habe ich mich nicht weiter damit befasst. Und nun habe ich es geschenkt bekommen. Es ist wunderschön und es ist mehr ein Table Book, als ein Tarotdeck. Die Box ist mit Samt bezogen und die Karten stecken in einer hübschen goldenen Schachtel. Natürlich gibt es auch eine Anleitung, die in mehreren Sprachen unter anderem auch in Deutsch verfasst ist. Jede Karte wurde von Salvador Dali gestaltet. Ein wirklich schönes Geschenk.

Honestly, I have no idea about tarot cards. But this tarot card deck of Dali I have discovered in the bag flagship store in Paris and was immediately fire and flame. But it’s quite big (ca. 35×20 cm) and not necessarily suitable for hand luggage, so I didn’t look into it further. And now I got it as a gift. It’s beautiful and it’s more of a table book than a tarot deck. The box is covered in velvet and the cards are in a pretty gold box. Of course, there are also instructions written in several languages including German. Each card was designed by Salvador Dali. A really nice gift.

In Frankreich gibt es ganze Beauty-Institute, die mit dem LPG System arbeiten. Ich weiß gar nicht, wie ich es beschreiben soll, aber Zupf-und-Saug-Massage könnte es wohl treffen. Man führt damit Antifalten-, Anti-Cellulite- und Hautstraffungsbehandlungen für den gesamten Körper und auch für das Gesicht durch. Sehr angenehm. Ich habe mir die Sache recht lange angeschaut und mir ausgerechnet, dass ich nach 10 Körper-Behandlungen im Institut die Heimversion raus habe und es mir irgendwann gegönnt. Ich muss es euch mal richtig in einem Blogpost vorstellen. Aber da ja gerade Bikini-Zeit ist hier schon mal vorab.

In France, there are whole beauty institutes that work with the LPG system. I don’t know how to describe it, but pluck-and-suck massage might be the right word. It is used for anti-wrinkle, anti-cellulite and skin tightening treatments for the whole body and also for the face. Very pleasant. I looked at it for quite a long time and calculated that after 10 body treatments at the institute, I’d have the home version out and treated myself to it at some point. I must introduce it to you properly in a blog post. But since just bikini time is here in advance.

Es begann auf Fuerteventura, in einem unserer Lieblingsrestaurants. Ich wollte nach dem Essen kein Dessert und auch nicht den hundertsten Kaffee, als mir der Cocktail des Tages ins Auge fiel. Espresso Martini. Seitdem ist es um mich geschehen. Wie konnte ich Espresso Martini nur vergessen? Es ist mir schleierhaft.

Gefährliche Angelegenheit übrigens, denn ich könnte Espresso Martini so vor mich hinschlürfen, was man natürlich besser unterlässt. Nicht nur wegen der Gesundheit, sondern weil man nach dem Schlürfen auch nicht mehr nach Hause schlurfen kann 🙈.

Fakt ist jedenfalls, dass ich mit meiner „Espresso Martini“ Leidenschaft nicht alleine bin, so angesagt, wie der Cocktail zurzeit ist. Man bekommt ihn quasi überall und das sogar in lecker. Sagt jetzt nicht: Ist ja auch keine Kunst, ich habe in Frankreich schon Cocktails bekommen … Ein Beispiel für einen Caipirinha in Cannes serviert in einem Sektglas: ein wenig Zucker, mit irgendeinem Saft und Alkohol. Farbe: Blau. Ihr versteht, dass ich bei Cocktails vorsichtig bin.

Da man für einen Espresso Martini nur Eis, Espresso, Wodka, Kaffeelikör und eventuell Zuckersirup benötigt, habe ich mir das Equipment für zu Hause zugelegt.
Außerdem kann man seinen Gästen so einen Espresso Martini ausschließlich in einem hübschen Glas anbieten. Grund genug, mir endlich die Gläser zuzulegen, die ich schon etwas länger anhimmle 🤩.

PS: Wie immer kein Rezept, das können andere viel besser 🙈.

It started in Fuerteventura, in one of our favorite restaurants. I didn’t want dessert after dinner, nor the hundredth coffee, when the cocktail of the day caught my eye. Espresso Martini. Since then, it’s happened to me. How could I have forgotten about Espresso Martini? It’s a mystery to me.

Dangerous business, by the way, because I could sip Espresso Martini like that, which of course is better left undone. Not only because of your health, but also because you can’t shuffle home after slurping.
In any case, the fact is that I’m not alone with my „Espresso Martini“ passion, as hip as the cocktail is at the moment. You can get it almost everywhere and even in delicious. Don’t say now: It’s not an art, I already got cocktails in France … An example of a caipirinha in Cannes served in a champagne glass: a little sugar, with some juice and alcohol. Color: blue. You understand that I am cautious about cocktails.

Because all you need for an espresso martini is ice, espresso, vodka, coffee liqueur, and possibly sugar syrup, I got the equipment to make it at home.
Besides, you can offer your guests such an Espresso Martini exclusively in a pretty glass. Reason enough to finally get me the glasses, which I adore a little longer.

„Les Pieds dans le Sable“ heißt übersetzt: die Füße im Sand.
Man könnte glauben, in diesem Post geht es um Wein, in Wahrheit geht es aber um ein Lebensgefühl. Wer es nicht hasst, Sand an den Füßen zu haben, der liebt es so wie ich und kann genau nachvollziehen, was ich meine.

In Capbreton gibt es dieses Lebensgefühl sogar in Flaschen abgefüllt. Zu unseren liebsten Beschäftigungen in diesem Urlaub zählte die, mit den Füßen im Sand und mit dem flüssigen, in Flaschen abgefüllten Lebensgefühl den Abend einzuläuten beziehungsweise den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Ich gestehe, das haben wir ziemlich häufig gemacht.
Der Wein kommt aus Capbreton von der Domaine „La Pointe Capbreton“ und ist absolut zu empfehlen. Wer in der Nähe Urlaub macht, kann sich an der Domaine damit eindecken. Es gibt dort eine kleine Degustation zum Probieren und Einkaufen. Ganz natürlich und ohne Schnickschnack.

Ich habe mir auch ein paar Fläschchen Rosé mitgenommen, die müssen allerdings noch ein bisschen warten, weil ich im Urlaub für meinen Geschmack etwas zu viel und auch zu tief mit den Füßen im Sand war 😂🙈.
Der Rosé war aber auch einfach zu gut…

Les Pieds dans le Sable means feet in the sand.
You might think this post is about wine, but in truth it’s about an attitude towards life. If you don’t hate having sand on your feet, you love it like I do and can understand exactly what I mean.
In Capbreton, this attitude to life is even bottled. One of our favorite things to do on this trip was to ring in the evening or enjoy the sunset with our feet in the sand and with the liquid, bottled feeling of life. I confess, we did that quite often.

The wine comes from Capbreton from the Domaine La Pointe Capbreton and is absolutely recommended. If you’re vacationing nearby, you can stock up on it at the Domaine. There is a small tasting there to try and buy. Very natural and without frills.

I also took a few bottles of rosé, but they will have to wait a little longer, because I was on this vacation for my taste a little too much and also too deep with the feet in the sand 😂🙈.
But the rosé was also just too good…

Passt übrigens hervorragend dazu …

Domaine La Pointe Capbreton

Das österliche „Zuckerkoma“ habe ich dieses Jahr sehr vorbildlich überstanden, vermutlich aber nur, weil ich sparsam beim Hasen-Kauf gewesen bin.

Die Schoko-Hasen sind somit also bereits alle vernichtet, Schokoladen-Eier gab es schlichtweg dies Jahr nicht und die Deko ist auch bereits weggeräumt, ganz so, als wenn nichts gewesen wäre.
Das entstandene Deko-Loch habe ich nun mit Iris gefüllt. Die Farbe der Lilien finde ich super zu den blau-grünen Samtkissen, die wegen der Gemütlichkeit auch noch weiter Dienst auf der Couch schieben müssen.

Und die Macarons, die ich mir bei Canet gegönnt habe, habe ich nach Farbe ausgewählt, was total dämlich ist, denn eigentlich stehe ich nicht auf blumigen beziehungsweise Lavendel-Geschmack in Lebensmitteln. Aber die Versuchung war einfach zu groß.

Übrigens finde ich die Macarons von Canet, einer Patisserie mit drei Geschäften in Nizza, ziemlich lecker. Ich habe hier schon mal über Köstlichkeiten von Canet berichtet und die wunderschönen Lilien habe ich natürlich von meinem Lieblingsblumenladen Rosebelle in Nizza.

The Easter „sugar coma“ I have survived this year very exemplary, but probably only because I have been thrifty when buying bunnies.

The chocolate bunnies are already destroyed all, chocolate eggs were simply not this year and the decoration is also already cleared away, as if nothing had happened. Easter felt weird anyway, this year so completely without family, right?
The resulting decoration hole I have now filled with irises. The color of the lilies I find super to the blue-green velvet pillows, which must also push further service on the couch because of the coziness.

And the macarons that I treated myself to at Canet, I chose by color, which is totally stupid, because actually I’m not on violets or lavender flavor in food. But the temptation was just too great.

By the way, I think the macarons from Canet, a patisserie with three stores in Nice, are pretty delicious. I’ve reported here before about delicacies from Canet and the beautiful lilies I got of course from my favorite flower store Rosebelle in Nice.

Derzeit blühen in Frankreich die Mimosen. Ganze Hänge und Straßen sind gelb und duften. Ich sehe das tatsächlich auch zum ersten Mal, und so ist mir bisher auch noch nie aufgefallen, wie stark der Duft ist, wenn man zur Blütezeit durch so eine von Mimosen gesäumte Straße läuft. Das ist wirklich unglaublich.

Ich habe mir mal ein Sträußchen gekauft – nein, nicht einfach abgesäbelt 😂🙈. Und nun duftet es hier auch.

Right now the mimosas are in bloom in France. Entire hillsides and streets are glowing yellow and full of fragrance. It’s actually the first time I’ve seen it myself, and I had never noticed before how strong the scent is when you walk down a street lined with mimosas in full bloom. It’s truly incredible.

I treated myself to a little bouquet—no, I didn’t just hack one off 😂🙈. And now the scent is filling my french home too.

Die Millennium-Trilogie von Stieg Larsson ist ja längst keine Trilogie mehr. Im Jahr 2015 erschien der Thriller „Verschwörung“, die erste von drei Fortführungen der Millennium-Reihe, die von dem Schriftsteller David Lagercrantz geschrieben wurden.
Genial, ich liebe die Fortführungen und bin echter Lisbeth Salander Fan. Falls jemand die Bücher nicht kennt und auf der Suche nach spannender Lektüre ist, das ist definitiv ein Tipp.

2018 wurde die erste dieser Fortführungen (Verschwörung) unter dem Namen „The Girl in the Spider’s Web“ verfilmt und ist derzeit auf Netflix zu finden.
Das Buch gefällt mir definitiv besser, aber der Film ist auch nicht übel. Wie auch viele Netflix Produktionen ist der Film „Schön“ anzusehen. Wäre es kein Film, würde ich sagen, mir gefallen die Bilder.

Stieg Larsson’s Millennium trilogy is, after all, no longer a trilogy. In 2015, the thriller “ Verschwörung “ was published, the first of three continuations of the Millennium series, written by the writer David Lagercrantz.
Brilliant, I love the continuations and am a true Lisbeth Salander fan. If anyone doesn’t know the books and is looking for some exciting reading, this is definitely a tip.

In 2018, the first of these continuations ( Verschwörung) was made into a movie called „The Girl in the Spider’s Web“ and is currently on Netflix.
I definitely like the book better, but the movie isn’t bad either. Like many Netflix productions, the movie is „Nice“ to watch. If it weren’t a movie, I’d say I like the images.

Ich liebe Hippie-Schmuck – und von schönen Armbändchen kann ich einfach nicht genug bekommen. Was haltet ihr von diesem hier? Ich habe es im Hippie-Moon-Shop entdeckt, aber nicht gekauft, da ich es schon länger besitze.

Mein Armband stammt noch aus meinem Laden – sprich: das habe ich damals an mich selbst verkauft. Und weil es immer noch richtig cool ist, zeige ich es euch mal mit dem Link zum Hippie-Moon-Shop. Ideen für Weihnachtsgeschenke kann man ja schließlich nie genug haben.

PS: Ich kombiniere das Armband gerne mit einem Armreif, den ich mal aus Marokko mitgebracht habe, und wenn ich es trage, habe ich selbstverständlich auch immer eine Blume in der Hand. Ist ja klar, oder?

I love hippie jewelry—and I can never have enough pretty little bracelets. What do you think of this one? I spotted it in the Hippie Moon shop but didn’t buy it, since I’ve actually had it for quite a while.

My bracelet is from back when I still had my own shop—in other words, I basically sold it to myself back then. And because it’s still super cool, I thought I’d share it with you along with the link to Hippie Moon. After all, you can never have too many gift ideas for Christmas.

PS: I like to pair the bracelet with a bangle I once brought back from Morocco. And of course, whenever I wear it, I always have a flower in my hand. Naturally.

Nie hätte ich geglaubt, dass ich jemals sagen werde, dass mich ein Streaming-Dienst begeistert. Aber nun ist es ja, wie es ist: Netflix hat mich in seinen Krallen.
Eigentlich schaue ich wirklich wenig Fern, aber manchmal habe ich doch richtig Lust auf einen Film und damit sind wir beim Problem des Fernsehprogramms. Das ist leider ziemlich bescheiden. Also habe mittlerweile auch ich vermutlich als einer der letzten Netflix und bin schier begeistert.
Jetzt habe ich gleich ein paar richtige Knaller geschaut und hoffe, ihr habt noch ein paar Tipps für mich. Was hat Euch denn so richtig begeistert? Meine Highlights bisher sind:

I never thought I would ever say that a streaming service excites me. But now it is what it is: Netflix has me in its claws.
Actually, I don’t really watch much television, but sometimes I really feel like watching a film and that brings us to the problem of the television programme. That is unfortunately quite modest. So in the meantime, I too, probably as one of the last Netflix and I’m almost thrilled.
Now I’ve watched some real hits and hope you have some more tips for me. What really inspired you?

Das Damengambit

Das Damengambit, übrigens eine Buchverfilmung, fand ich super. Ich glaube, die Serie schaue ich noch mal. Schachspieler sollen ja noch mehr geflasht von der Miniserie sein und sogar die Spielzüge nachspielen. Mir hat die Serie auch ohne jegliche Begeisterung für Schach gefallen.

Enola Holmes

Den Film Enola Holmes fand ich auch großartig. Die kleine Schwester von Sherlock und Mycroft Holmes hats auf jeden Fall drauf.

Murder on the Orient Express

Dann habe ich noch die Hollywoodverfilmung von Mord im Orient Express geschaut. Ich gestehe, ich wusste nicht Mal, das es diese Verfilmung gibt. Was für eine Besetzung und die Bilder … Auch diesen Film fand ich sehr kurzweilig. Ich habe gelesen, dass ein Nachfolger 2020 in die Kinos kommen soll, beziehungsweise sollte …

Laufen. Reiten. Rodeo

Und dann habe ich noch den Film über die Rodeoreiterin Amberley Snyder geschaut, der auf einer wahren Begebenheit beruht. Die Rodeoreiterin ist seit einem Unfall querschnittsgelähmt und hat es bis zurück ins Rodeo geschafft … Wer sich dafür interessiert, hier ihr Instagram-Account @amberleysnyder

Während des ersten Lockdowns hat sich ja die ganze Welt eine Nähmaschine zugelegt, schon allein, um Masken nähen zu können. Ich hatte auch darüber nachgedacht, mir wieder eine Nähmaschine zu kaufen, konnte mich dann aber nicht so auf die Schnelle entscheiden.
Mittlerweile bin ich aber fündig geworden und habe mein neues Schätzchen schon eine Weile daheim und auch schon fleißig benutzt.

Um die Nähmaschine soll es heute aber nicht gehen, sondern um einen Onlineshop, den ich komplett leer kaufen könnte. Alles Haben wollen!
Es handelt sich um den Onlineshop eines Herstellers für Näh-Accessoires. In dem Onlineshop, er heißt Vostex, gibt es die schönsten Gurtbänder, Borten und Bordüren, ich könnte wahnsinnig werden.

Bei Vostex hatte ich verschiedene Stretchbänder entdeckt, zu denen mir etwas eingefallen ist: Ich hatte noch einige uralte, aber megatolle Hosen im Schrank, von denen ich mich bisher einfach nicht trennen konnte. (Wenn das Marie Kondo wüste, aber die Hosen haben einfach noch viel zu viel Freude entfacht🙈) Einer der Hosen war ich quasi entwachsen und ich befürchte, auch wenn ich ab jetzt niemals mehr etwas essen würde, die Hose bliebe zu klein.
Als ich die Stretchbänder gesehen habe, wusste ich sofort, dass man sie super in die Hosenbeine zum „Weiter-Machen“ einsetzen könnte. Man kann natürlich auch einfach eine Hose damit aufpimpen.

Und wenn ich ehrlich bin, muss ich auch erzählen, dass die Mami es genäht hat, als wir uns das letzte Mal gesehen haben. Meine Nähmaschine war nämlich noch nicht da, aber ich kann auch ganz gut nähen …

During the first lockdown, the whole world bought a sewing machine, if only to sew masks. I had also thought about buying a sewing machine again, but then I couldn’t make up my mind so quickly.
But in the meantime I have found what I was looking for and have been using my new darling for a while at home and I have been using it a lot.

Today it’s not about the sewing machine, but about an online store that I could buy completely empty. Want to have everything!

In der Provence ist Lavendel einfach allgegenwärtig – in jedem Garten wächst er, in jedem Souvenirgeschäft ist er zu finden, und der Duft liegt quasi in der Luft.
Um Urlaubs-Provence-Feeling nach Hause zu holen, braucht es also gar nicht viel: ein Lavendelsäckchen, ein lilafarbenes Kissen – und ein hübscher Bastkorb schadet natürlich auch nicht.
